Doing DAK in a few hours?

So, here's what I'm planning to do: I'm going to do the online check-in, and if everything goes according to plan we should arrive at the CBR at 12:00pm next Friday. After we get settled, I'm going to take the nearest bus to DAK, and I'm going to try and do the park as quick as I can. Yes, I know DAK isn't that type of park, but I'm also going to take in the scenery, but I would just like to know an estimate about if I could get the majority of the park done (besides shows) before it closes at 5pm...then I'm going to DHS for an hour or two (to get a ride of ToT and Muppets in), and then off to Epcot until midnight.

Now, I know this is just me dreaming, but could this actually work out just fine? If not, please tell me what I should avoid at this time of day.

DAK is usually a half day park for us anyway..
That's what I figured, I've never seen the trails and the small things in the scenery, but I've seen all the shows and such...was planning to go to Conservation Station, all the large attractions, and the little scenery.

If you only do each major ride once, it's doable. I can't keep myself to one EE or one Dinosaur ride though.

Yep! We do AK in half a day including repeats too. We ride EE a few times as well as Dinosaur, ITTBAB, Kilimanjaro Safari and Kali River Rapids this next trip as it'll be warm.

DAK is not a half day park. You may spend half a day there because you decide to only do certain things. If you only want to go and take in the scenery it can easily be done in an hour.

I always head straight to everest, check out the tigers, make our way to the rapids, finish with the safari and we're done before lunch. I usually make DAK day a multiple park day. during the afternoon I'll hit one of the waterparks and once it cools down, DHS for a few nighttime tower of tower and rock and rollercoaster rides. This probably works since I don't have any young kids traveling with us. Good Luck, you're going to be exhausted!

This year I'm flying, instead of driving the 18 hours so I'll have more time to enjoy the scenery in every park.

For me it depends on crowd levels and how you utilise FPs. I tend to do the animal trails while waiting for a FP return time. It also depends on how long you view the animal exhibits. If I get there at or around opening, I find that I can be finished with the park by 12:00pm. It depends on if you want to catch all the shows, and the crowd levels. Conservation Station shouldn't take too long, if they aren't doing some sort of animal procedure in the operating room, then there really is nothing there.

personally its a 1/2 day for my gf and I... it's a fun park but just doesn't have the appeal that the other parks have.

my plan of attack:

1.) get up early and to the park for opening
2.) safari
3.) pull everest FP, get in line... ride once, then come back to ride again with FP
4.) catch Nemo show (bc thats awesome!)
5.) check lines on phone (dinosaur, or kali)... decide to ride one or the other
6.) Bugs Life 3d

back to resort, lunch and off to MK or Epcot

We're not coaster people at all, so neither Everest nor anything in Dinorama do anything for us. Usually a day in AK for us consists of Kilimanjaro Safaris, exploring the trails, Finding Nemo, Dinosaur, and Kali River Rapids if the weather is right (we usually go to WDW over winter so sometimes it's cold). We're usually done by mid-afternoon.
