Does music from the various Disney Parks give you goosebumps or bring back happy memories?

It certainly does for me! I absolutely love the music from SpectroMagic (I just managed to find an .mp3 of the entire parade after many years of searching, the whole fourteen minutes!). SpectroMagic is to me as The Electrical Parade is to many of you... I grew up watching it, so it is extremely nostalgic for me. Once I was old enough to take in the tremendous beauty of the entire thing, I always got misty-eyed while watching it, especially when the one carousel float passed by. To this day, the music still gives me nostalgic goosebumps like you wouldn't believe.

Aside from that, I'd have to say the Epcot entrance medley that played near the entrance of the park for some time was a favorite of mine, too (I don't know if they still play the one I'm thinking of in the area anymore, I sure do hope so, though). Anything generally from Epcot seems to help me relax and unwind, to be honest.

What's your favorite kind of music from the Disney Parks? Do you have any good memories whenever you listen to it? If so, I'd love to hear about them! :)

Remember... Dreams Come True soundtrack. You wouldn't have to visit Disneyland to really feel that song. Wow.
Soundsational is great to listen to as well. My favorite parts are the Lion King/Jungle Book/Tarzan section, the Princess and the Frog section, and Peter Pan. Love, love, LOVE! Magical is great to listen to as well.

I'll post the videos as well.

Goosebumps? No. Happy feelings? Yes.

I listen to WDW/Disneyland soundtracks every time I'm in my car. Today I spent two hours driving to my parents' house and I listened to park music all the way here. My favorites are the Epcot location music and the Celebrate a Dream Come True parade soundtrack. It just makes me happy!

Agree!! Spectro makes me have to restrain from crying. I listen to D-cot Jukebox many days at work as background music to just de-stress me all around. Some favorites are the Wilderness Lodge Lobby background music, Jungle Cruise Queue Music (random) and at Christmas time...well, don't even get me started. I do allow myself Disney Christmas Music in July...9 days left! ;)

Illuminations makes me think of nearly every trip I've ever been on, all at once. Illuminations with the holiday tag makes me of watching it with my wife.

Also, I love the Splash! Mountain loop, it instantly brightens my mood.

On the negative, any Aerosmith music reminds me of that horrible queue and the god-awful bathroom area.

Not sure if you're familiar with it but you can get lots of wonderful Disney music at Mousebits.com. You'll need a torrent downloader like Utorrent.

As much as I love the music from WDW (especially Epcot!!), the one that really does it for me is this:

This is the ride music from DisneySea's Journey To The Center Of The Earth attraction. My favorite part is probably the beautiful piano solo that you hear several minutes into it. This musical piece sparks emotion, and is without a doubt my favorite piece from any DisneyParks location. Is it just me, or can you hear this music easily fitting in at Epcot, just outside of SSE or as you enter Soarin'?

Oh wow! If I lived around Tokyo, I'd probably be at DisneySea every weekend just to hear that ride's soundtrack. :D I could just go buy the music.. but that's no fun.

In WDW, there is this one part during Illuminations: RoE that always gives me chills and goosebumps. It's the part when all of the country pavilions light up at the same time, and the music is like dum, da, DUMMM!! And then the part right after that makes me feel all happy and proud. I love it! I'll post it here if you're wondering what I'm talking about. It starts exactly at 8 minutes.

I just started listening to the D-cot website, that site is insanly unbelieveable!! I love it!! Only wish I could put in ona disc!! I mean there is everything on that site!! But yes listening to Spectro those first bars of music, Chills oh yeah and that heaviness in your chest!! (I'm getting teared up just thinking about it) Illuminations, another the pre show music and the music after the whole thing, yeah goosebumbs and that grin on your face that says ( yeah i'n at my happy place".
But you know Disney has much music that does this, just produces a tear or an emotional overload!!

I don't get goosebumps, but I have always held an affinity for the ambient music played in Future World at EPCOT. I have many memories of sitting at The Electric Umbrella eating a quick lunch with my family, with the music playing in the background.

I love the Main Street Electrical Parade music, it brings back great memories for me.

I also love the carosel of progress music (it's a great big beautiful tomorrow) but I really miss the other song from it too (Now is the time, Now is the best time...)

I do love the Journey Into Imagination song too.

i agree with the Main Street Electrical Parade. i just love it and it makes me sooo happy.

i also can't get enough of the Soarin' music. it's just so lovely. you can totally imagine being on the ride and soarin' over all those places. the bit at the end where it goes all twinkly when Tinkerbelle comes on the screen and you go over WDW really makes me excited :D

i also like the Carousel of Progress. i know it's changed a few times since Walt first 'designed/constrcuted' etc it, but you can't help feeling that the ride still has a little bit of him in it, a bit of his spirit. it makes me feel a little bit closer to him. :)

ooo and i love the Country Bear Jambouree! listening to it instantly puts you in a good mood.

a few other tracks i enjoy are the exit music to Honey I Shrunk the Audience - it's such a happy little tune, it's a shame it's defunct now, and Ellen's Energy Adventure - not sure why, it's just happy and upbeat and puts me in a good mood.

I've got (wait let me look at iTunes...) 13.28 GB of Disney Parks music/sounds and I can tell you that I not only get goosebumps listening to some of it but I also tear up. There are so many songs I have that immediately choke me up. Some are songs from attractions that once were (a passion of mine) and some are songs that just make me long for the next trip or bring back a wonderful memory. The same is true when I'm on property. Certain things (like Wishes) give me that tingly goosebumpy feeling when they start up and then I find myself tearing up as they go on.

It's a completely uncontrollable unconscious thing too. I can't tell you how many times I've noticed someone at a red light looking at me with tears streaming down my face. I probably look ridiculous but I don't care. It's my "world!"
