I totally get that many people haven't seen it, but many people haven't seen Universe of Energy. That shouldn't be the reason management says it's still good to go.

The gags are outdated and the entire show seems old, I suspect even if it's your first time.

At least change the script and add some new effects.

Universe of Energy would still be fine, even with many of the bad 90s flaws. But maintenance for that pavilion SUCKS. Dinorama door broken, MANY affects not working, film is awful.. Ellen's energy adventure is still fine technically. Well.. At least it COULD have been.

I've only seen it a few times, despite my love of Indy, but it doesn't quite have "staying power" with me. It was an awesome show, but I think there's room for something new. It does occupy a fair amount of park space - with all the new stuff on tap I'm sure it's in high demand.

I'd be sad to see it go, but only because I fear that it'd mean the end of Indy's presence in the swamps, and that would be a shame. While I don't know if he would/should get his own land in the revamped Studios, I wouldn't mind seeing him get an attraction in there somewhere or possibly in the always-hopeful-but-probably-never Adventureland expansion.

I really like the show as does Mrs Merg and see it at least twice a year. One thing I'd kind of like to see change though would be the 'warm up' show where they collect volunteers. Don't get me wrong, that's very funny in itself however once you know what's coming it has limited appeal for the repeat guest. It would cost zero money to update that part, just a bit of writing and a new script to achieve the same outcome. When you look at the Citizens of Hollywood 'sketches' there's certainly no lack of people there to write funny acts and change them now and then and I think Indy could do with that.

Well technically he's still in TGMR but I know what you mean.

I love the show. It's a Studios original. Having said that, unlike many here, I WOULD like to see Disneyland's ride come here. I don't care if the track layout is the same as Dinosaur. I look at what I'm supposed to look at, NOT whether this track is identical to another track somewhere.

I don't get the impression that people don't want the DL ride in WDW.. I think the people that want to keep the show, would welcome the ride as well.. The question is where to put it.. it wouldn't really fit in at EPCOT, there really isn't space (without removing something) at MK, Dinosaur is already at AK, so it might be redundant.. (although there are 3 spinners at MK, so redundancy might not be a huge concern..) so that leaves HS, which has other things lined up ahead of a new Indy ride..
