The one daytime live show at the Studios I actually like. Much better then "Cars driving round and round in circles for 20 minutes and then some jet skis" or embarrasingly dated rubberhead musicals.

Would still prefer an Indy ride there though.

I absolutely love this show, but everyone I usually go with are tired of it and want to see something new. I always make it a priority to see. I would be sad to see it go, but if we get a good attraction in it's place, I guess I can accept it's departure.

I am not a big fan but I do not dislike it either. If there is a way to keep it and add SWL, then I say keep it. Nobody ever complains that a park has too many attractions.

Is Indiana Jones a popular enough IP to warrant an expansion with a new ride though? I dont see that many people chomping at the bit for this.

It does not matter how popular the films still are as long as the attractions are done right. (Splash Mountain for example, Song of the South? Nope. Avatarland is another example.)

I think there is still a good amount of interest in Indiana Jones, especially for people 30+. I would love to see the DL/TDL ride come in. It's pretty awesome and I think it would draw a huge crowd. Plus that theme music is pretty iconic!

Judging from the audience reaction to different show elements, I'd say that there are still a great majority of people who are seeing this show for the first time. It still draws a full theater multiple times a day, so I'd say there's plenty of life there.

We usually go during the off peak seasons, and the theater is still mostly full (or at least more than half) every time.. So I would have to agree with @danyoung56

I always enjoy it. It is part of the fun to try and pick out the plant before he is identified.

It doesn't? Frozen replacing Maelstrom says hello.
I never said it wasn't.

It doesn't matter if an attraction is based off of an unpopular movie as long as it is done right. I gave perfectly good examples. Heck, the attractions don't have to be based off of ANY movie to be popular. (Mount Everest, space mountain, test track, soarin)

Let's not change the subject simply because you're being proven wrong. Using popular movies is the easy way out for Disney. An attraction not based on a popular movie can be the most popular in the entire park if it is done amazingly well.

Indiana Jones is quite popular though. So I don't know why we're even having this conversation

The show isn't bad the first time you see it... But I think it is time to give it a much needed upgrade. No problem keeping the opening sequence with the boulder and idol... But the airplane and jeep crash in the later part are old and never were that good to begin with... Why not rethink the back half and update it with something from one of the other movies.

I may be biased since I was chosen to be one of the audience participants a few years back (I was in the group with the planted stuntman and he was HYSTERICAL), but I love this show. I took friends in October '15 who have never been to Disney and the looks on their faces when the stuntman got beaten up were absolutely priceless.

On the other hand, I definitely think it could use some updating. The fact that a young guy is still being referred to as "Harrison Ford's stunt double" 20+ years later SCREAMS outdated. Update it, incorporate stunts from each movie, preview the upcoming reboot...something. I'll also take an Indy ride...I'm not greedy or anything ;)

(Also, hi, I'm Carrie and I'm new here...been lurking for a while...but this was the post that made me break my silence :).)
