Do you still feel like the FL expansion is missing something?

No, as in cartoons. I don't want the entire park to be "Kiddie Play Land".

It's for the young and young at heart.

Besides...I adventure has a name...well...you know the rest.

Yes, his name is Carl Fredrickson! I know the spiel... :drevil:

IMO, the park isn't too "kiddie play land" outside of FLand. WDI can build a solid Up attraction and still maintain both an adult and kid crowd without being too "kiddie play land". Splash does a great job at that.

It's all about perception though. I'm sure they would make a great Up ride. I've got all the faith in the world in WDI. I defend them regularly around these parts, but the fact is another cartoon-based attraction would make most people above the age of 12 grumble. I've heard the talk before from long time guests. They aren't happy that everything seems to be getting kiddy-fied in the park.

Now bring in an attraction that involves a character like Indy, that appeals to everyone, and you've got an instant winner before it opens.

Besides Indy fits in with the current feel of Adventureland. I may make a thread at some point in GD about Adventureland. I have a lot to say about the place and how badly things have gone for the land.

I enjoyed it...

And I miss old Tiki Room. :( We don't even do the new one, anymore.

I do it when I'm with the family because we like to do everything in MK and Epcot.

I do realize Indy appeals to most demographics, and I hate to beat a dead horse... but he's dead so can't hurt can it ... so does Up. Although it may be a cartoon, Up has a very adult message that kids might overlook. Sorta like Wall-E is more of an adult cartoon, yet it still appeals to kids who only see the goofy things and laugh (Dug).

And why didn't you want a volcano in ALand? Indy is blinding you! :p

I don't think that Indy is dead, but he's not as vibrant as we used to be, even with the movie. If they release another one, maybe

But the bolded statement is very, very, very, true. Sean has a problem.:lookaroun

No doubt, but Indy has a much, much broader appeal. An Indy ride/subland could draw non-Disney fans to the park as well as the obvious draw of a great attraction for Disney fans. Where as an Up is just drawing from the same old crowd.

And I'm not saying it has to be Indy, just a character like that.

No. Wouldn't fit at all. You'd see it from the JC, not to mention Caribbean Plaza. There's no volcanoes in the areas that JC passes through, and would completely destroy the amazing realism of the jungle.

Same with the Caribbean.

Horrible idea. I'd rather have him in SGE, where he fits.

I'd take him in Aland over what's there now. It would be an upgrade for the show, not to mention it would destroy SGE.

That being said I'd rather have the original show back.

You're kidding right? Have you seen kids lately at Halloween? I'd say Indy is bigger now than when the ride was built in Disneyland.

Nope, I just know Adventureland and what would be the absolute best for it.:D

In Tokyo he is a welcomed addition to their Tiki Room.
That's because of the Culture Gap. They see Stitch as just as lovingly as we see Mickey.

Disagree. At least SGE makes sense, using Stitch, a Alien, in Tomorrowland.

Alien in Adventureland? How?!:brick:

I'm selfish.

I'd do anything to improve Adventureland, and the STitch show is an improvement to UNM.

Gonna have to stamp this with "Opinion" becuase there is no way I am seeing eye to eye with you on this.

It would NOT improve anything....At least UNM has new birds.:lookaroun

Fair enough, but have you watched a video of the Stitch Room? The blue menace is only in the last few minutes, unlike the ungodly voice of Gilbert Gottfried screeching in my ear very few seconds in UNM.

That's like saying "the Wand was up for only 7 years". Still does not make it right, nor does it fit.

And yeah, UNM has a volume problem.

hush!

How does an Indy Temple set in Mexico fit?

It'd be viewable from the Amazon, making it a little bit of a stretch, but it could be themed to the Mayans or something of the sort. :D And It's not ridiculously tall where it would interfere with Caribbean Plaza, and if it does, I'm sure it could be covered up/themed.

Scar, I've thought of this way too much.
