I'm saying "Like it", but more that I like the concept of something new being introduced. I my normal course of attendance at the parks, parades are quite low on my list of things to do/watch. I benefit by parades distracting guests from the other things that are higher on that list. I might take it in once, if it happens to be where I am at the time, but I don't deliberately go to parades.

It sounds intriguing, but I'm not voting because I haven't seen it yet.

i agree. How can 1 vote when we don't know what the parade will be like yet. I was excited to see Stitch Great Escape for the 1st time but after seeing it I hated it. I am glad they are trying something new but until seeing it I am reserving judgement.

Do we even know if this is really what is going to replace the daytime parade?

If it is, I say where is the creativity? It is already being done at DHS-maybe different music and characters but been there, done that.

I actually love the day time parade they have now at the MK. I think it is the best they have had for daytime since the park opened. Doing a repeat of the street party concept of DHS would be a real disappointment. JMHO

What I saw at DHS is one float that stops in the area you are in. You really only can see that float, the characters and dancers on that float when the music and dancing starts. It looked fun, high energy; but you really didn't see what was going on at the other 4 or 5 floats in the parade. I couldn't even tell you if there were more floats than that. I guess the idea is they stop and perform getting the crowd by that float involved. Then close up and repeat the same thing farther down the street. I really don't know because when they closed up the float we went to do something else.
From what I hear during hot weather the parade is very hard on the performers and more cms end up with heat exhaustion and pass out etc. after the street party parade than at any of the others.

As I was watching the Disney Christmas parade on TV, they showed a bried sketch of what the parade was going to look like, but other than that I haven't heard anything about it. Is it already going on at the park? And where can I find more info about it? It looked pretty cool in the sketch!

I thought this parade wasn't starting till early 09'?

When did it start? You would think if a new parade started there would be video's and picks all over the internet boards:hammer:

It is my understanding that this will not be a replacement for whatever incarnation of Share a Dream Come True we have next. This parade will run in addition to the regular 3:00 parade. Think of it as the new Family Fun Day parade.

Heading for the great escape.
If its anything like the nonsense at the studios it will be another thing to miss. Still young people miming to tapes is an excellent fit with Cyrus the virus
