Do I need sun cream for december?

Hi

We are going to Disney for the last two weeks of December :xmas: and I am wondering if I will still need to bring sun lotion with me? If so whay spf do you usually wear. I have been to Disney World twice before, however both trips have been in April so the weather was very warm and I used SPF 50 every day. There are a lot of two for the price of one deals on sun cream at the moment so if I need to get some maybe now will be the best time.

You won't need to wear it as ofte, since sunset will be around 5, but you'll need it. SPF50 is fine. You may find even better bargains at the tail end of summer with all that leftover stock stores will need to blow out.

I'd say definitely bring it and put it on in the morning, but no need to go nuts and carry it with you and reapply unless it is unusually sunny.
It is FL after all!

Yep, you should always wear sunscreen, even when you are not in Florida.

I have a couple of questions. are you visiting Florida? do you think it will be cloudy and snowing? of course bring it!! you wont need as much but the sun is just as brutal it just doesnt feel as hot. but then again, ive lived here in Florida my whole life and Ive hardly seen snow or even much super cold weather!!! but, you need sunscreen everyday here, even in winter. dont know why but you can burn just as easy.and you wont even feel it til the next day!!! and every year around the holidays when it should be nice and cool or even cold, its always in the 80's. I havent seen a xmas under like 80 degrees in sssssssoooooooooooooooo many years . we dont start getting cold til like January!! But you still need sunscreen.
either way enjoy your trip and hopfully SM will be up and operational when you go and I hope when we go in Dec. as well!! have fun!!!

I visited in December in 06 and it was still in the 70's during the day, a few days were even warmer. So it's safe to bring it!

We always bring it along - no matter when we travel. We just don't usually reapply when we are there in the winter. In the summer, we bring it with us. :lol:

Definitely bring it. We were there in 2006 in December and it was 85 and sunny every day. We were still in shorts and t-shirts at midnight.

Always wear sunscreen. Even if it's hazy, you can still get burnt. Just keep in mind that it can still get quite hot here in December. There will be some snaps where it gets chilly here from October-onward, but we don't usually get our (relatively) cold weather until January.
