DLR Annual Passholders & Day Guests: Grievances

APs, please stop asking Main Street CMs to take photos of you holding the bundle of Disneyland-Mickey balloons. The idea is no longer original, it's tired, and unless you've got a sunset in the back, the photos aren't going to look that great. Think of something else at this point.

Day guests, particularly those coming from out of state, stop buying 5-day passes. FIVE DAYS AT DISNEYLAND? Please get a life and do something else rather than making plans to see the Mouse five whole days in a row.

Indy is never getting fixed. Accept it.
The APs who keep score cards on every paint scuff and every burned out light bulb are a wild kind.

The last time my family did a five-day Disneyland marathon we were APs. Is such behavior more acceptable for that demo?

And what are we to make of those Australian 10-day passes?

I'm sick of pulling that damn rubber bamboo stick thingy in the Indy queue and being very disappointed when it doesn't work.

Anyone who goes more than three days in a row, APs included, need to find new hobbies. Find a museum to go to, or something. A 10-day pass is honestly gag-worthy. Eeeeeewwwww.:hungover:

I laughed so hard at that!! There's this horizontal board falling apart right next to the right side of the train in IASW. We watched it for months. When it didn't get fixed we told City Hall. It was fixed a few months later.

Wha? Buh buh I like my five days! And really it's more like four and dipping my toe in on day five! Also, I ignore the mouse and only see him in parades, Fantasmic, or if I literally bump into him. My five days are QUITE proper and dignified and always include Mr. Lincoln, UNLIKE PEOPLE WHO CLAIM TO BE SUPERFANS BUT CAN'T WAIT ZERO MINUTES TO SEE AMERICA'S PRESIDENT SPEAK. **Glares in GP at APs**

I'm also a GOOD day guest because I still see other things despite my "excessive" Disneyland time. Surely better than that guy who went every to the park for single day for 10 years or whatever.

The REAL menace are Americans, primarily (coughcoughRhymeswithShizboardscough) , who can't even get the 10 days on one ticket like international guests, BUT still insist they need like 12 days and that's still not enough time. 12?!?!?!? At Disneyland?!?!?!? How many pool days could you possibly need?!?!?!? And you've done this multiple times intentionally?!??!!??!?!?!?!?

Have you bought a 5-day ticket for a future visit yet? If so, it’s not to late to get a refund! PM me and I will plan something very nice for you for those other two days.😁😂 Lol one of my friends who was also an AP complained about Lincoln and said it should be removed because it’s old. She also expressed support in the removal of Mansion. She’s one of those types.

A twelve-day visit is not even worth discussing. Americans who do that, particularly the ones who’ve already been to Disneyland many times and know it well, are interesting, to put it lightly. I’ve met fans like this. Trying to hold a mature conversation is difficult sometimes.

I bought a discounted 5-day hopper for my trip because Disney prices them in such a way that there's not much of a difference between 3, 4 or 5 days on the ticket.

I only go to Disneyland once every few years. When I go I don't like going from park open to park close and standing in line for hours. The 5-day ticket gives me more flexibility to see and do what I want, with opportunities to see things more than once. Disney's scheduling of entertainment also makes it difficult to see all the shows in one day due to a) how many there are, and b) most are not daily.

The 5 days can be used anytime within a 14-day window, so you don't have to go 5 in a row.

People in general. Please pull off to the side to look at your phones or take a picture! Ooh look there’s a different type of leaf, let’s stop right here in the middle of the walkway and take a zillion pictures. Or my favorite; I can’t find that pirate ride on this map on my phone, while I’m standing right here in the middle of the walkway at this treehouse thingy.

As a future Disneyland Dream Keyholder™, it's survival of the fittest at the park. If I'm gonna brake check a day guest at the bottleneck between Tarzan/Pirates/River Belle Terrace to take a blurry photo of said leaf, it's up to you to dodge me.

Someone earlier requested that we need to have a unessesary poll....

Your wish is my command !

:)

POLL -
Choose one from each section.

( please note - below is humor, in tone with this thread's fun. I don't actually feel this way about either! )

--------------

Passholders suck because :

A. They fill up the Parks like expanding cotton.
B. They use the Parks like a shopping mall flop house.
C. They buy up all the cool Limited Edition merchandise I want.
D. Uncle Walt didn't want a AP Program and they are messing with the legacy.
E. Their 'entitlement issues' don't have a place at 'The Happiest Place on Earth'.

-----------------

Day Guests suck because :

A. They don't know what they are doing and get in my way.
B. They think the Castle is 'too small'.
C. They don't appreciate the Park on a higher level like 'we' do.
D. Fireworks and fairies is all they want to see.
E. Very few know how to properly claim a spot for a parade / show without being a major nuisance to those around them.
