Roughly the same mileage from my little part of the Peach State. Care to share what city you live in? (If not, that's fine -- I understand -- Net Psychos).

We live in Covington, GA! It is about 20 min to 2 hrs east of Atlanta depending on traffic! Good thing I do not work in ATL!

Where's Franklin! Sorry, I am lazy after the holiday (which I had to work during  ) and I guess I could look it up!

592.28 according to Mapquest through Atlanta.
About 9 hours the route we drive.

to Atlanta and then take a right at the SMOG (down 75 South?) I guess there is not a good way to Disney from Alabama way. There are no major roadways are there?

750+ depending on the resort we are staying at... about 9.5 to 11 hours.
Rob, where are you traveling from (city)

yep..... it is 11 hours with 2 women in the car, 10.5 hours with 1, and 9 hours with me or me and another male (navigator helps a lot to confirm exist and junctions on the highway)

We go 280 to Columbus,GA. Then 280/27/82 from Columbus through Albany to Tifton. Then I-75 to the Turnpike. My partner (who drives) hates the Interstate traffic from Birmingham to Atlanta (so do I, talk about bad roads), and the congestion in Atlanta. The "back roads" are much more pleasant then the semi-trucks.

But, if we had the Rep Points you would probably get hit hard by all the ladies on the site!

we did the 280 to auburn on the night before.... stayed with a friend, got up the next day and took some back roads due east over and picked up 75 in georgia and headed south. dont recall the exact roads.... but yours sounds familiar. come to think of it, i think we did take that route. that cut and 1.5 hours.

anything to help.

lol yes! I've been reading all these massive drive times, and I couldn't even imagine taking a road trip like that. I guess I'm just not that patient
