Disneyworld.com sucks - Tell them!

Most of us know that Disney.com sucks. It's horrible, inaccurate, and the people who make their living off of it should be ashamed of themselves.

Broken links (for a year now!) and inaccurate information make it harder for anyone trying to plan a trip to WDW to really understand the place prior to arrival. Not to mention showing them images of the old rooms at the Contemporary is just wrong.

So, I beg you, please.. Tell Disney their website sucks. I know many people feel this way but not many people tell Disney the truth about their website. Without signifigant statistical evidence that something is wrong Disney will not move to right this problem.

So i'm providing the link to Disneyworld.com and at the bottom of the page, please click: "Tell us what you think"

And this link might work to go right to the survey...

I don't expect any flaming. This was thoroughly "debated" a couple of weeks ago, with the consensus being that although many of us consider it a vulgar term, and cringe when we hear/see it being used in mixed company (as my dear departed mother would say) it's meaning has changed over the past few decades to something that doesn't offend the majority.

I can't help but think of the time I was chastised for using the phrase "you rot" which was popular teenspeak at the time. Trust me, when I used it, I had no idea that someone would think I was making fun of lepers.

So, I consider it a generational issue, rather than a forum issue.

as always, you are the voice of reason! thanks!

Id love for Disney to adopt the "room availability calender" that AAvacations currently has. If for some reason the resort, or even room category your interested in is not available, a calender will pop up showing what days the resort is sold out on and then another link to see which resorts are available. Its such a nice feature in my opinion... and works very well.

As for issues with the site? Never have I had technical issues... but I can't stand the lack of information on the site, its extremely frustrating and disapointing.

I would love to see a much improved resort section with 360s of the rooms, pools, courtyards, common areas, etc. Maps of the resorts would also be a nice touch as well as a better description of transportation to and from the resorts.

The parks' pages are an absolute joke, and most general amusement park sites are far superior. Interactive maps with trivia, graphic images, 360s, video reviews, etcs would be a very nice feature.

To be honest... I don't think disney really feels the "need" to create a better site especially with the hundreds of unofficial information and fan sites out there. Why waist the money?

The website has been in this shape for many years. You click on Coronado Springs and you get The Grand Floridian. I use the phone number whenever i have a problem. Also, the refurbishment schedule is always wrong or is updated rarely. They have the Haunted Mansion and Spaceship Earth unlisted past July.

This is so true, the website does suck.

There is so much information and I feel it's a little disorganized, sometimes I can't find what I'm looking for even though I remember i've been there before.

And I love the virtual tours of the resorts, but half the time they don't work which is really frustrating!

It is also not easy to print anything out, like the calendar. I like to print it out and mark down the times of EMH (becuase it doesn't directly say it on there, I don't know why!) but it is so difficult to print, I have to put it in word and then do it.

The site looks really nice, but it needs a lot of work.

Ha...over the years I've seen Disney pander more and more to people considerably under the age of 18 whilst forgetting all about anyone older--but kids under 18 can't take their survey?!

It may have it's glitches and maybe it could use an update, but I had no problem planning and making reservations for my vacation this year.

To me it seems that everytime the website is updated, it gets slower and harder to navigate. I have often thought Disney's website was terrible considering how much money they probably put into designing it.

I think it was designed by a committee that couldn't decide what they wanted.

Everything on the internet, including the WDW website, is designed to force you to get a new computer every few years. The website was really slow and hard to navigate on my computer I bought in 2003, but works great on my new one.
