Technically, it still is.
It's a stupid, arbitrary distinction, but if a film studio makes no action due to external factors, its status doesn't change.

I do not give a damn about The Rise of Skywalker stuff, that film sucks, but I really liked the Mandalorian direction episode. Once you get away from the ego boost aspect, it’s actually a really cool look at why and how people got the jobs.
