I’m very curious who’s winning the “buzz game” In the intermediate timeframe?

Netflix for original tv shows by a mile.
Disney for movies by a mile.
Acquired shows (linear syndicated) are a huge grab bag amongst all the major players, of which HBO shows fall under this category too.

Amazon has a couple that pop onto either list (you can probably guess at them) then Apple is sustained on awards buzz with the one exception of Ted Lasso, which was actually the biggest series in 2023 across the board.

Here’s eyeballs in general, which is why we’re going to see D+ gobble Hulu.

I’m curious what the returns are on paramount right now? They are the hot hand with the Taylor Sheridan shows…but not sure how that translates to overall share?

Separately, Nielsen noted that as Disney makes Hulu and ESPN+ content available within the Disney+ app for certain subscribers, the integration could affect crediting between Disney’s streaming properties as it relates to The Gauge. To resolve this, Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+ viewing will be aggregated into a single total represented as “Disney Streaming” beginning with the January 2025 Gauge report.

Question: what defines "YouTube" (and it says "YouTube Main")? Is that only people who are online watching videos on YouTube the video sharing platform? Or does any sort of streaming on You TubeTV also count if you have such a subscription? Like if I use YouTubeTV as my TV provider and am watching Animal Planet using it, would that count for YouTube minutes?

Also, since you can imbed YouTube videos on things like posts on messages board like this, I am assuming that people watching the videos in that setting still "count" right?

It means the primary YouTube video sharing platform and not YouTubeTV.

If you haven't seen it, today's a great day to watch "Red Tails" on Disney+. Even if you've seen it, why not let it play in the background.

Are you trying to get the movie on the Nielsen chart for some reason?

I would think March 27th would be a better day which is the commemoration day of the Tuskegee airmen.

Can't get political here, but think of a disgusting reason why I might make that suggestion today and then check google.

Yeah, I try to ignore most of that stuff. Coming from a family who had members in the Air Force (my mom was a flight mechanic for a Search and Rescue unit) I try to avoid that controversial topics like that.
