Rotten Tomatoes statistics and critics reviews = worthless, again.
Camp Cretaceous on Netflix was fantastic, but then dominion was a definite let down. Loved seeing the OG characters, hated the plot. They could have done so much better.Jurassic: Dominion was also poorly received and killed the franchise for now. But a good tv show can revitalize.
People's characterizations of a movie as if we all agree on that opinion with no data = less than worthless.Rotten Tomatoes statistics and critics reviews = worthless, again.
How so?Rotten Tomatoes statistics and critics reviews = worthless, again.
I haven't heard plot-related complaints. IMO, it actually fleshes out the plot and expands on both Ariel and Eric's characters quite well. The lighting is also not nearly as dark as the trailers make it seem. That's a trailer fail.
Not directly replying to this message, but I wanted to know which post of yours you wanted me to respond to in the spoiler thread. Let me know! How so?
How many attractions does Disney have based on The Jungle Book, Pete’s Dragon, 101 Dalmatians/Cruella, Mulan, and Lady and the Tramp? You know, we thought of something. Next week we go to Universal for the first time. We can't wait, but what hits me is that most of the franchises represented there are either out of date or dying. So it occurred to us that the reason Disney keeps making remakes is to keep the "older" movies alive today to keep their parks and merchandize active and current. Yeah, there are differences, but maybe, just maybe, that while most have been successful on their own, they also revitalize interest in the classic animated versions at the same time which can generate more overall revenue.
Thanks for the fake news.
Good grief!!!Rotten Tomatoes statistics and critics reviews = worthless, again.
Disney would NEVER waste the talents of the impeccable Catherine O’HaraIf anyone dares mention the practically perfect and too-good-for-this-world Ms. Catherine O'Hara as a reason why Elemental flops, it's going to get ugly in that thread. Trust me.
The water being too dark is very subjective all around. It honestly wasn’t to me, but I won’t tell someone they saw it wrong eitherI watched a pretty fair and unbiased review and he couldn’t stop talking about how dark every scene that’s not on the surface is. He also mentioned the plot you speak of and that it adds legitimately nothing to the actual story. Also lack of emotion across most actors. Those were the big take aways.
That’s good to hear. Thanks for your input. The water being too dark is very subjective all around. It honestly wasn’t to me, but I won’t tell someone they saw it wrong either
As for the plot adding nothing to the story, I will vehemently disagree. It very much pushes back on the whole “she gave up her voice for a man” criticism to really show how these were two people, neither of whom felt fit in in their own worlds, who found that sense of belonging in each other (and brought the two worlds together in doing so).
Lack of emotion was a problem with Triton, but not really anyone else imo.
Just like with all of Sony SpiderVerse films, Disney is actually rooting for ATSV to do well as they get 100% of all merchandise sales from the movies.Spiderman is drowning the Little Mermaid. I will be even worst when Transformers opens.

Merchandise sales doesn't always go with box office. See Wakanda Forever. That crap is still laying around even under clearance. Who knows how much merch sales Disney gets anyway. As for Transformers, that franchise just like the Fast franchise might have run out of gas. The last two Transformers films didn't light the box office on fire so we'll see.
They should have shut down the Bay-verse after 3. Bumblebee was pretty well liked by most and was a great re-start. I'm not sure how rise of the beasts will do. On one hand it seems like they are starting over again. So will people care? On the other hand. There's a lot of G1 fans and a lot of beast wars fans, and this seems to be giving both sides what they want. I don't see it doing a billion, but it could do really well if the word of mouth is strong. As for Transformers, that franchise just like the Fast franchise might have run out of gas.
