Despite Covid-19, Disney shares have reached an all-time high as Wall Street looks forward to the company's streaming-centric investor day.

Wow, even Comcast/NBCUni won't follow up on AT&T's mass dump.

WarnerMedia won't cause an industry shake-up: Other studios unlikely to end theatrical window in 2021
WarnerMedia's biggest legacy media streaming rivals will probably let HBO Max be the industry's guinea pig with its 2021 movie release strategy.www.cnbc.com
What they did was openly tell Hollywood creatives and the theater business that they will screw whoever they can just to get people to pay $15 a month for movies that are mediocre at best.Which is really disappointing. ATT/WB screwed the pooch here.

Outside of The Suicide Squad and Godzilla vs. Kong (the latter of which WB had little to do with), little if anything about WB's slate in 2021 looks noteworthy.Hey can I borrow that crystal ball you used to see about the quality of movies that haven't come out yet.![]()

Only about two or three of those movies would be surefire box office hits had they not been sacrificed to the streaming gods.Looking at the list, I'm pretty interested in:
It's actually a good list of movies.
- The Little Things (Denzel!)
- Judas and the Black Messiah
- Many Saints of Newark
- Reminiscence (Hugh Jackman!)
- Godzilla vs Kong (I have no expectations on this, but I'm all for watching a fight)
- In The Heights (Lin-Manuel Miranda!)
- Space Jam 2 (YES!)
- Suicide Squad (YES!)
- Dune (YES!)
- King Richard (Father of Venus/Serena will be a must watch, with Will Smith in it)
- Matrix 4 (YES!)
- Mortal Kombat (Why not?)

WB's box office record last year was awful. Only It: Chapter Two and Joker were blockbusters, and none of them were released during the summer.
And pretty fun music. The Webcast is up, just giving instructions for now.
