Looks great, but I still hate the "Celebrate You" song.
This looks good in the video, I hope it looks as good in person!!! and SirGoofy, I LOVE that song.. I think it's because of the sentimental value it holds for us though.... but I seriously cry every time I hear it. :lookaroun

I think you're being picky.
They are puppets and I suppose there has to be some difficulty staging them and being exposed to both sides of the parade in a moving vehicle.
And Just remember it could be worse-it could be the way they used to look during the MGM parade.

Miss Piggy and Kermit look weird still. They seem lifeless and more like puppets than they normally do... or I'm just picky...

Usually the Muppeteers have little video monitors down below the puppets to see a wide shot of what their Muppet looks like from the audience's view. I'm guessing they don't have this luxury in this parade, unless they have cameras mounted on the front of the car.

They probably also have VERY limited vision from their hidden locations, which means they can't really see what the audience looks like. This means they can only perform very generic and repetitive movements - and occasionally operate the mouth to sync with the soundtrack voiceovers.

I just love the fact that they've put REAL Muppet puppets into the parade. The "furry friend" versions were awkward.

Very, very true (and something I forgot). Also this is a one time off kinda thing, so no retakes or such. I bet they'll get better as time goes on.

But yes, I agree with you all too, way better than creepy life size Muppets....
