I think the difference (although slim) is that the cast member handing you the receipt is not handling food. The cast member handling food does not touch your receipt and has no physical contact/exchange with the guest. When I was there they were using a tray to pass the food over to the guest with no contact.

That would be the same in counter service restaurants though. Most counter service are indoors so the booths do allow for better distancing but still... it seems odd that they didn’t come up with a better solution.

The counter service restaurants are using mobile order to avoid guests congregating while ordering and waiting for food. That’s why most locations are requiring you to wait outside until your food is ready for pickup.

Yeah I see that... indoors vs. outdoors makes a difference as well. Just something that seemed to get overlooked. Not as bad as midway mania that’s for sure.

It appears they turned off the preshow in the Runaway Railway...that Is a great part of the attraction they shouldn’t take away parts of the experience.

Ate at Sci Fi today. Super weird for it to be so empty. They were really trying to utilize the non car tables too. We politely declined when they tried to seat us at one next to another party at another.

Today was such a great day at Hollywood Studios. The only slight hiccup for us was when the rain started coming down like crazy at the same time mickey and minney went down for cleaning for extended time. We were stuck in that downpour for a while but gotta admit, as soon as we got on the ride we thought it was all worth it. Such a fun ride! To make the day better at the very end we rode millennium falcon 3 times back to back right at closing. Fantastic day overall

Runaway Railway reportedly running this morning without the pre-show -

"the preshow would add a significant amount of time to the wait time, which would increase the time guests are waiting in the hot Florida sun"

Maybe they'll bring it back if/when the line dies down? It's a very cute pre-show.
