What? Where did you find out this information?
I'm just assuming now that the writers of the wikipedia article on Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa posted above made a mistake when they said that Disney's Grand Parisian Resort & Spa would be built at The Disneyland Resort Paris. I'm assuming now that they were referring to the resort that is going to be built in The Tokyo Disneyland Resort, which is modeled after Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa at The Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Resort Hotel at The Disneyland Resort Paris: http://forums.wdwmagic.com/showthread.php?goto=newpost&t=50567

Is it possible that the writers of the article made a mistake? That Disney's Grand Parisian Resort is not going to be built at The Disneyland Resort Paris, but is actually the name for the third resort hotel at The Tokyo Disneyland Resort that is scheduled to open in 2008?
Very good possibilty. Good catch.

Something is certainly happening on the site. Now the new car park is open over the rail line the open air village lot (and part of the land in question) is closed and gated. Possibly part of the confirmed village expansion, or part village, part hotel, part convention. The Newport Convention Centre was added in the late 90`s so we know EDL SCA do like the idea (as Jim Hill reasoned) but what happened to the original Convention Center location South of the Newport? Guess they have decided it needs a resort attached too, and with a prime plot of land on the lake ready for one, maybe this will be it....

The land available between the DV and the Newport will remain as is for a few more years. The Convention center and its business resort hotel will take place on the current 2nd parking, south of the new parking.
