If Wishes is on the list, Illuminations shoudl be there too.
Dunno.

And the article that's mentioned (places to propose) is lame.. haha.

I would choose.

Narcoossee's
The Crystal Palace
The Gazebo overlooking the lake at Saratoga Springs
Tea at the Garden View Lounge at the Grand Floridian
The Wedding Gazebo at the end of the Boardwalk--it where I got married.

I agree with Wishes..but not so much the others

My top are..

Polynesian Beach on "our" hammock..;)

World Showcase..especially when it is closing time and no one is around but also almost every time at night..:D

The EPCOT resort area by the gateway to World Showcase..especially walking at night time is beautiful and so nice..:D

Main Street again late at night when almost no one is there.

The Wishing Well by Cinderellas castle..:D

There are many more..but those are off the top of my head for now!

Ha! Is that the best picture of the Boardwalk they had to show how romantic it is?!

There are a lot of romantic spots in WDW... and many of them are subjective and special to certain couples for different reasons. All five mentioned are romantic spots... I don't know if I would consider them the top five though.

Any deluxe resort would do when it comes to "romantic spots." I would including Epcot (WS). A lot of those places are romantic. Eating at CRT would be romantic too, during the evening fireworks. I know there are a lot more romantic places, but I can't think of them on the top of my head.

To the OP it is subject to opinion.

Obviously the fireworks at the end of the night at Magic Kingdom. But I think SpectroMagic parade at night is right up there too

For purely romantic rides? Try Small World or the Golden Carousel. That's just me, I can definitely see those being romantic to some people. Maybe even Peter Pan or Dumbo if you treat them that way

And yes sitting on the benches at night facing the Castle down Main Street with the beautiful lights needs no explanation at all

Dumb question maybe, but where the heck is that? Is it in the front of the castle where the Walt and Mickey statue are?
no sir. if you are looking towards the front of the castle, take the bidge towards fantasyland. then take your first left next to belles story time and you wil come accross the well :)

Agreed with this. My family and I ate finished eating there one night just before the last showing of Wishes (we eat late), and needless to say we were among the last people in there, with the exception of one couple and another family. It wasn't until the restaurant had cleared out this much that one could truly appreciate the subdued atmosphere - the detail of the gothic architecture, and the gentle string music. Sure enough, the man in the couple got down on one knee and a CM rushed out with a glass slipper on a tray with a ring on it, and the lady promptly accepted. It was almost tearjerking.

I think riding the launch that travels between MK, GF and Poly is very romantic at night. I've never ridden it during Wishes, but would think that would be beautiful.

Watching Wishes from Poly beach is another one for me.

Also, one time DH and I were riding the resort loop in the front of the monorail during grad nite fireworks, and that was really romantic.

V&A is romantic in general.

and, let's see... to make five?

I might also say either Main St. USA or Streets of America (osborne lights) at night when it snows during xmas time, with the music playing and the decorations. The only problem is there are so many people! If you could get that without the masses of humanity, that would be a good one.

There are so many romatic places at Walt Disney World!! Anywhere practically at the Poly or Grand. I think the California Grille during wishes is a great spot. I think Italy, in the world showcase, is a great place.
Disney does such a great job with their lighting/landscape/architect that there are thousands of romatic spots. Depends on the person!:)

Not dumb..if you walk out of the castle towards Fantasyland..take a right and walk down the path toward tomorrow land and it is right there..:D

I agree..we love taking the boats at night..and during wishes they have stopped and it was beautiful!

One other romantic place..Fort Wilderness Resort..the beach especially at night is so great but the whole resort at night..especially late is so romantic and peaceful..we love being there..:D

In no particular order,

The Poly beach
The waterfall at the WL or the fireplace
In front of the Castle
The fountain in front of France
The Boardwalk.

Ah okay, so its basically behind Snow White and Pooh then. And there is a washroom nearby, correct? Yes I think I know what you mean. If I've hit Starlight Cafe I have gone too far. Gotcha. Thanks.

But seriously, romantic spots shouldn't be looked for. The moments that make them romantic spots should make then a nice spot for you- be original. :)
