DisneyPrincess5's Post Trip Report Notes

Hi all

I wanted to write some miscellaneous notes from our recent trip that I missed in my trip report!

-We were given 2 FPs for Space Mountain from a fellow guest! We were given a few sets of FPs last trip, so this was a fun surprise!

-The monorail was super fun and exciting as always! I almost bought the 'Por Favor' shirt they now sell...I should have!!

-We were walking into Journey into your Imagination and a guest asked a CM 'Which is more fun for the kids-Figment or HISTA?' and the CM smiled and said HISTA! She sold out her own ride.

-One of the many times we did Philharmagic, a lady behind us said 'there's Nemo!' when Flounder came on the screen :lookaroun

-That same lady declared very loudly at the end of the show, 'that was WAY better than Avatar!'

-We saw a lot of squirrrels this trip which we've never seen before!

-We saw 2 lost children cases :( One boy was lost at DHS and a CM brought him to Guest Relations and a CM was trying to help 2 crying sisters at Cosmic Rays when they became separated from their mother...so sad.

-I tried a citrus swirl and loved it!

-Ryan got a Dole Whip float and I tried a bit and it was good...not a favorite of mine but I'm glad I finally tried it.

-I adore the Disney in-room TV channels! The new 'must dos' is fun along with all the other channels!

-We ended up not visiting Universal on this trip as we had planned to for a day because of the added expense of it, so we're planning to visit in 2011 during our next WDW trip and hopefully get to finally experience Harry Potter!

-My favorite ride/attraction is still Tower of Terror but Space Mountain is moving up in the ranks along with CoP and Philharmagic!

-Philharmagic is still my favorite 3D show and BatB is my favorite live show still!

Thanks for reading!

This squirrel discussion is cracking me up!

My DD is a big animal lover (okay, our whole family loves animals, she just takes it to another dimension) and every family trip we've ever been on, she points out all the miscellaneous wildlife -- squirrels, ducks, birds, etc. The rest of us tease her and say, "yep, another duck. How exciting." -- things like that just to needle her.

So, she's always remarking when we're in WDW that she always sees lots of ducks, but never any squirrels. I must admit, they are ubiquitous in our backyard, but I NEVER would have noticed the lack of squirrels in WDW! Anyway, she saw one in EPCOT one day a couple weeks ago, and I swear I think it made her WDW experience complete. It was really bugging her that WDW seemed to have no squirrels.

She will be happy to know that there are others in the world who take note of WDW wildlife. Never would have guessed!

 That's adorable.

Yes we are animal lovers, especially me, so I too notice every single animal walking around and was so excited to finally see squirrels! It's just as fun spotting random animals as is it riding the Safari and seeing them there.

 I know right? I was cracking up.

They were in fact given to us by a man but we left on the 16th. I believe it was on the 14th. That would've been funny if it was him though!

It would have been funny... we always give our extras away... ever since we got them given to us a few trips ago. It always makes people smile.
