They need to cut that out, I haven't even been yet. They're already raising the prices on everything.

any list that does not have Indiana Jones Adventure in the top 3 is not a valid listBest of Orange County 2019: Best amusement park ride
Once again, Disney takes all top three spots in the best amusement park ride category.www.ocregister.com
Top 3
1. Space Mountain
2. Incredicoaster
3. Soarin' over the World
Gee, what is missing?
HSM?IJA is a great attraction. Not one of my favorites, as the ride system doesn't bring any butterflies to the stomach like Splash, Thunder, Space, etc, but I can greatly appreciate its existence & effects, and still have a good time every ride.
Unlike M:BO, Incredicoaster, or HSM, which bring a bad taste to my mouth. Believe it or not, some time ago I actually did appreciate HSM but the longer it goes on, the more I dislike it.
They opened a corpse of a land and screamed, "IT'S ALIVE!"Let's look at the last quarter's numbers released by TWDC.
Attendance was down both in attendance and income compared to 2018.
And the July through September numbers are also tracking below last year in both categories.
Disney did waive CM Block out days, the half price one day park hoppers for selected folks, brought back the Electrical Parade through the end of the Fiscal Year, handing out AP Magnets and buttons, and have implemented major cut backs in CM hours, especially in Entertainment, but also things like mid-day Monorail operations.
The numbers are not good at all. Now 2 quarter's that are not as good as 2018, even though they opened Galaxy's Edge.
To try and imply anything else is just wishful thinking and spin.
The Courtyard by Marriott on Harbor charges on average over $500 a night. All they had to do was cut admission and hotel prices, and not just for friends of APs. I spoke with CMs who got stays in the GC for 125 a night last month. Yet to the average person it was 500-600 a night. If demand is low they should dynamically price the hotels instead of holding onto their ego and "premium brand image". Just lower the prices one day and advertise the rates (don't advertise that they cut the price, just say "Parkhoppers now starting at $110, Hotels Starting at $150/night").
It will. Disneyland crowds come for the rides.A few months ago, when we were planning our January trip, I had the idea that the lines for Star Wars were going to be out the door and that we’d have to prepare for huge crowds. Guess it won’t be nearly as crazy as I thought.
Edit: Granted, RotR could change that.
I was actually referring to DHS, but hey, that’s what I get for posting in a Disneyland thread. It will probably be true for that park also.It will. Disneyland crowds come for the rides.
Hyperspace Mountain I imagineHSM?

Try about half that, in the $250'ish range
I guess this kind of programming still works in this day and age, the annual television special Disney Parks Christmas Parade is pretty much a tourism ad disguised as a festive celebration. Here is what they are doing for marketing. They are making a 2-hourcommercialimmersive TV show with Neil Patrick Harris and Jay Leno to promote GE. I realize that I'm a cynical old lady, but does this kind of cheesy "commercial masquerading as a TV show" actually work with anyone?
First look at Freeform's star-studded 'Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge' behind-the-scenes special
Can't make it to Disney World or Disneyland to see 'Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge' for yourself? Have no fear, Freeform is here.ew.com
I found the Star Wars fans who went to Disneyland and WDW just to see Star Wars Land. They're in the same camp as I was when I visited Star Wars Land this summer. Underwhelmed.

I've had the misfortune of seeing a couple of this guy's videos, which consist of him broadcasting from mom's basement to his fellow incels about how Disney has ruined Marvel and Star Wars by having female characters. Or something. It's not very coherent.
