Disneyland "Social Clubs"

I see nothing wrong with social clubs. People who love the park, wearing matching shirts and hanging out together..

...sounds like any average tourist if you ask me, lol.

The story about the clubs hi jacking an entire car is the bad thing about the club. That’s the worst thing about a group tour. I wonder if they let people cut in line.

The LA Times article named a ton of clubs:

Big Bad Wolves
Tigger Army
Neverland Mermaids
Flynn's Riders
Main Street Fire Station 55
White Rabbits
Nightmare Crew
Jack O' Lanterns

They say that the park hosts about than 100 clubs, ranging from 5-100+ members each.

It also says: "Drop, the founder of Flynn's Riders, said he has drafted a constitution for his club. It spells out that a prospective member must go through a three-month evaluation period before the club's council members vote on admission."

Just read the comments from the original post in MC and OMG everyone is right! This Fite guy defending himself and his actions is a joke!
I just want to ask him - Outside the lawsuit and other allegations brought on by this Sanos (or whatever) guy what does anything you are mentioning in your comments have to do with you? How does any of the things you are claiming he does or says effect you? Grow up and mind you business! Oh and stop pretending your group is not a gang when you clearly are using intimidation and force to play security inside the parks. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he and some of the members of his group are guilty of racketeering and other serious offenses.

Bahahahaha. That’s hilarious. Can you imagine not being accepted after 3 months. I mean, is there some type of requirement that you have to eat 10 churros per month, be able to get a seat at the Cove Bar in under 10 minutes, recite Walt’s dedication from memory, lead a full elevator in the Haunted Mansion narration, know the names of all the DL horses in sight...and who the he#% is named “Drop.”

“I’m not accepted? Now where will I wear this Wal-Mart denim jacket with the sleeves cut off, and $300 worth of patches and pins?! Maybe I can return it...or join Hell’s Angels!”

If you are a fan and want to show off your pride fine buy some merch and ears. If you want to meet up with like minded people in the parks great just do so without affecting or effecting other guests! However comma why create all this trivial minutia? You know those custom patches and pins aren't cheap and honestly a "constitution" just to join a club? Clearly some people have far too much free time!

~edit~ Am I the only one curious what exactly the $500 gets you for "protection"?

I have more thoughts on social clubs and other things later after my visit today but found this particularly annoying. 10 feet away from Doctor Facilier there were 2 guests roughly dressed as characters with several kids in line...they were signing autographs. Ugh. They should have had their APs revoked on the spot

You should have done a "citizen's arrest " and confiscated their APs.
