Disneyland Resort's Last Day Of Operation Wait Times - Friday, March 13th.

TouringPlans scored below-average crowd numbers for the entire months of January and February. Rise Before Dawn did not kick off any notable attendance surge. This past week you typically see crowds start to inch up slightly as the weather improves and early spring vacationers start to pour in. Instead, attendance has collapsed back to June 2019 levels.

I think it's now basically certain that SWGE will never deliver what it was supposed in its 2-3 years as a new land.

Anyone happen to know if the Corona virus scare is effecting Knott's in the same kind of way?

Possibly, but Cedar Fair has explained in their IR calls that they are passing 50% of admissions being APs. Knott's self reported an 8% increase in Jan/Feb attendance, but that was almost entirely based on the staggering 40% increase in AP sales. Cedar Fair is still trying to grow their AP program as they want to "weatherproof" attendance, the CEO even compared it to sports season tickets.

Disney does not seem to want that kind of strategy, even for the huff and bluff about Disneyland being a locals park they aren't passing 50% passholder admission on most days.

Here's the 2pm update for Friday. The very low wait times continue. It is sunny and 73 degrees in Anaheim right now. Star Wars: Rise Before Dawn is having a rough day; it didn't open until 10:25am, then broke down for about an hour, and currently at Boarding Group 58.

Disneyland is open 8am to Midnight today.

Small World, Jungle Cruise, Submarines, Grizzly River Run - 5 Minutes
Pirates of the Caribbean, Chase-A-Baby - 10 Minutes
Splash Mountain, Millennium Falcon: Target Run - 20 Minutes
Indiana Jones, Matterhorn, Radiator Racers - 35 Minutes
Guardians of the Galaxy, Space Mountain - 65 Minutes
Soarin' - 70 Minutes
(it was mysteriously closed all day yesterday, perhaps only running 1 theater today?)

Almost all other C & D Tickets are in the 5 to 15 minute range. Peter Pan is 25 minutes, and Midway Mania is broken down right now.

I mean if you think about it, it’s kind of gross that we wipe ourselves with some dry paper and consider ourselves “clean.” With that said, I have a bidet at home and have used it zero times. The problem is the only place it’s convenient to use is at home and at that point why not just shower?

Albeit - I do think it has had rather good attendance results at DHS these days.

The wait times are pretty staggering right now though at Disneyland!

It's 7:30pm, I'm about to make an evening cocktail to welcome the weekend, and it's noticeable that no after-work crowd showed up tonight at Disneyland like they so often do on Friday evenings. Even the cheapest SoCal Select AP's are unblocked today.

Wait times for E Tickets are in the 5 to 40 minute range across both parks. Most notably, Radiator Springs Racers at 7:30pm is only a 30 minute wait!

Here's a silver lining... At 9:15pm the wait time for Space Mountain has now dropped to 10 minutes.

10 Minutes. Ten. And Disneyland is open until Midnight.

I am now seriously contemplating jumping in a Lyft and going to Disneyland this weekend, just to go on E Tickets that only have a 5 or 10 minute wait like it was 1985 again.

I just want to say that from my experience at DLR today, I noticed many custodial cast members constantly cleaning handrails.

Good for them! That's actually nice to hear. :)

Of course it's mostly showmanship and theater, but showmanship is part of this human drama that is playing out. So many people just aren't thinking straight, that seeing janitors wiping down handrails at Disneyland will at least make them feel better.

Just breathe and remember you can always order from Amazon, if you have prime membership, you can even get your toilet paper within an hour in many areas with Prime Now or a few hours with Prime Fresh.

Just so everyone knows lower wait times are normal this time of the year, they really haven't been too out of line from what should be expected, so it probably has very little to do with fear and more to do with that we are in the normal lull between holidays and the fact that Disney has greatly reduced the amount of entertainment they offer, which results in fewer locals. Add in the cancelled conventions and there are fewer people from out of town, so crowds may be slightly lower, but again very little can be attributes to the Corona virus and more due to Disney's stupidity in getting rid of so much entertainment as of late.

Really not unexpected this time of the year at that time of the night, as a lot of people will be at Fantasmic!, Fireworks and World of Color.

(Modest) crowds have arrived today! The flex pass did have some cancellations as today was available when I checked this morning but not enough to make it a super slow day.
