YES!!!!!! Who knew DL wouldn't be long after WDW!

Questions, Why no word on DL Hotel, that bothers me.......

Does this need/should we be looking for approval from Anaheim/Oarange County/CA's Gov. like what Orlando's Theme Parks had to go though?

My easy answer is they want to target both ends of the Disneyland vacation budget...

Disney “rich” and Disney “poor”.

I think the Disneyland Hotel (me) folks will pay extra and go with GC, so prob a win for Disney.

Woot. I wonder how they picked Disneyland Hotel as the one to leave closed.

No kidding. That's an interesting choice.

And they didn't even mention the Disneyland Hotel, as if it doesn't exist.

Clearly hotel occupancy rates are expected to be very low this summer and fall.

5th gate? Just build a new resort Bob.

If the daily capacity initially really is around 10-15K per park, they probably just didn’t want to bring that many rooms online; while it was impossible to do this at Walt Disney World due to the sheer number of hotel rooms, at Disneyland, I assume that resort guests will have preference for admission. It wouldn’t surprise me if they under fill GC and PPH to leave room for APs.

Guys, remember, Disneyland has no interest in opening as soon as they can.
These are the earliest dates they can legally reopen? They’re aiming to be the first parks open in Southern California?

At least one of the announcements did mention the DL hotel. This is from the Disneyland website

Hotels of the Disneyland Resort: Pending governmental approval, Disneyland Resort Hotel Guests will once again enjoy being immersed in the magic when Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, and Disney Vacation Club Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa reopen to Guests and members starting on July 23, 2020. The Disneyland Hotel will open at a later date. Plans to support physical distancing as well as increased cleaning measures, along with a number of other health and safety protocols, will be implemented as part of the phased reopening of our hotels and the Disney Vacation Club.
