The biggest question is how will they load Star Tours with everyone standing front to front?

I could see them utilizing the long hallways that contain that portion of the queue and filling up each row. There's a higher chance of being chosen as the spy now at least haha.

My easy answer is they want to target both ends of the Disneyland vacation budget...

Disney “rich” and Disney “poor”.

I think the Disneyland Hotel (me) folks will pay extra and go with GC, so prob a win for Disney.

While they had already been cycling the ride quite a bit, I believe there is quite a bit of work left to be done. I don't see them opening up anytime close to the same day as the parks.

Paradise Pier over Disneyland Hotel??? That's an interesting choice.

One of the Trader Sam's longtime bartenders speculated that the Disneyland hotel has far more points of entry than the other 2 hotels and would need more time to set up security and temp screening. Again, just his speculation.

If the daily capacity initially really is around 10-15K per park, they probably just didn’t want to bring that many rooms online; while it was impossible to do this at Walt Disney World due to the sheer number of hotel rooms, at Disneyland, I assume that resort guests will have preference for admission. It wouldn’t surprise me if they under fill GC and PPH to leave room for APs.

At least one of the announcements did mention the DL hotel. This is from the Disneyland website

Hotels of the Disneyland Resort: Pending governmental approval, Disneyland Resort Hotel Guests will once again enjoy being immersed in the magic when Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, and Disney Vacation Club Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa reopen to Guests and members starting on July 23, 2020. The Disneyland Hotel will open at a later date. Plans to support physical distancing as well as increased cleaning measures, along with a number of other health and safety protocols, will be implemented as part of the phased reopening of our hotels and the Disney Vacation Club.

So, same as WDW: pause on new ticket and reservations for now, and must use a new reservation system.
