That's my guess as well. I'll go one day earlier so I can at least have a guess. Thursday, May 21st.

I would be good with this date (or May 28th) as I'm right now scheduled to be in the parks on May 29th (arriving May 28th).

Yes. I leave my house now and there's no vaccine or instant test. I imagine my client's office (which I go to on average once a week) will be open as well and thus, they will expect me to make an appearance.

Yep, not surprising. And notice in their press release they say 'at least' through May 31st. So that can be extended again at any time. Why I'm convinced we won't see any openings until June the earliest. Disney themselves has already hinted they probably won't open until June earliest since that's the soonest they are even taking hotel reservations now. All these parks had shut downs in the same week of each other and they are all probably monitoring what the others are doing. NO ONE wants to be accused of putting profits ahead of personal safety first and will not open too far ahead of anyone else. If Universal, which has much less attendance than Disney does, has extended its deadline I won't be too surprised if others extend theirs too;, especially if there are zero changes to the current situation which as right now there isn't.

I was going to start off the thread with a mid-late summer guess, but thought I'd be laughed at. Quite an interesting spread already developing!

My name is not Bob. But if it was and I ran the parks, I'd be thinking of something like:

Bring back the cast in early June to clean/restock/retrain/check maintenance/finish small construction projects.
Open the park as a 'soft open' on July 1st - to AP's only to get all the CM's up to speed and get the initial AP rush out of the way.
Then throw a 'grand re-dedication/official re-opening' on July 17th.

Similarly - for WDW - I would bring the cast in late August to restart.
Soft open the parks on Sept 15th - to AP's, DVC and resort hotel guests only.
Then throw a 'grand re-dedication/official re-opening' on Oct 1st.

That's if my name was Bob and I ran the parks, which sadly I do not.

So basically, I'm saying 7/1 for DL, but likely a soft open.
