Disneyland Offers Sneak Peak at WDW's Fairytale Hall?

All of this work looks gorgeous. I absolutely love it. Perhaps a little too... glossy but that's my negative-nancy nitpicking. They should be very proud.

She looks like a pinup princess.

As somebody who is immersed in car culture, and whose wife has done pinup modelling for a little while, I'm absolutely fine with that!

Not sure what I think about this little stage show they've got going on in the Royal Theater. It's sort of funny, sort of dramatic, sort of vaudeville, and a little unusual for a kiddy section. I'm surprised the kids seemed to enjoy it as much as they did. I haven't heard that the Royal Theater concept makes the jump over to the WDW version of this attraction complex in Fairytale Hall, but I think that might be okay. o_O

Kids love live entertainment even if it is not directly aimed at them.

They will.

Sorry but the details on the new Rapunzel area at the MK or better than those found at the area just opened at DL and likely more expensive. So unless the new M&G at WDW is truly temporary as rumored, I expect it will be on par with the DL version.

I really don't think PFF and PFH can be compared. PFH, from the photos I've seen, is a building. PFF is a mini land. There's no comparison, unless we're strictly comparing just the meet and greet aspects of both. Even that's different, princess-wise. It looks like all the princesses will be at PFH. Only a few will be present in PFF.

Princess Fantasy Faire in Disneyland has a sign which shows which princesses will be meeting guests that day, and it is built so that the princesses in attendance can easily be changed.

Merida's meet and greet will remain outside of PFF at the old Rapunzel meet and greet in Fantasyland.

What I heard was that PFH in Orlando would follow the same routine with a rotating carousel of princesses which can be changed via the flat screen "portraits", and they'll have a sign out front.

Live entertainment at PFF = the Royal Theatre
Live entertainment at MK for princesses fan = ETwB

So those portaits in the concept art are going to be flat screens? ...just like a McDonald's menu?

:D that's awesome

While this is true, Tiana, Mulan, Merida, Pocahontas and I believe Snow White will not be seen in PFF. Tiana will be in New Orleans Sqaure (they're already setting up her spot), I don't know where Mulan will be, Pocahontas will stay in Frontierland, you already said Merida will be where Rapunzel was and Snow White will be at her wishing well. The others will be in PFF. Having the others there would break PFF's theme... They were sort of able to get away with this when the princesses were located at the theater, but not anymore. This could change, I'm not sure.

They still can't be compared, IMO. They're different.

It does? Belle and Ariel certainly won't. And it's not clear if others like Jasmine or Tiana will be moved to there (I expect not). We'll see what the details end up being, but I'm skeptical that "all" the princesses will be there.

I was just basing that on the concept art. I saw some concept art where Tiana was greeting a guest in PFH. I thought if she's there, maybe the others will be, too.

Not sure how having "other" princesses at PFF would "break" the theme, it is a whimsical way for princesses to meet guests. I don't see why having Mulan, Merida (eventually her meet and greet may be moved), Tiana (her meet and greet is temporary/ may be seasonal), or any other Disney princess at PFF, though they may obviously keep other meet and greets going due to demand.

Rapunzel was there with Flynn as part of a show, btw.

So where does Princess Anna fit in all of this? Doubtlessly by next Fall/late Summer we're going to have a Princess Anna somewhere in the park, most likely Merida's former digs.

I don't know who Princess Anna is.

PFF is a European, Renaissance-themed faire/village. Where do you think a Chinese, a Cajun and a Native American princess fit that theme? Just curious.

Especially Tiana... There's already a perfect spot for her in New Orleans Square.

CMs got a "Royal Proclamation" from Aurora saying that Aurora, Ariel, and Cindy would be meeting people in her "Royal Hall" by her castle. So I'm guessing the line-up isn't going to change at least for a while.

Princess Anna is from Disney's upcoming Frozen.

Well if we're going to be historically accurate all those "Renaissance" girls would have existed in different time periods.
