Predicted improvements based on what happened to Bayou Country:
  • Galaxy's Edge: Mando mission on Smuggler's Run (Confirmed)
  • Main Street - Walt Disney animatronic (Confirmed)
  • Frontierland: Tom Sawyer's Island get a update with fixed interactive elements (remains open); Rancho del Zocalo gets a retheme; Golden Horseshoe gets new entertainment for the 70th
  • Adventureland: Can't think of anything now that Tarzan's Treehouse has become Adventureland Treehouse
  • Fantasyland: Add a new show to Fantasyland Theater, Toad & Pinocchio getting an update
  • Tomorrowland: Electric Autopia; FIX IT

Wouldn’t have any issues with any of the above. I took amplifying lands to be more like land wide updates or refreshes considering the examples they provided like Toontown and Bayou Country. The only land I’d be ok with that at DL is GE. TL needs more than that and all the other lands are great.

Is a retheme of Rancho del Zocalo something that's being rumored or something you just made up for your list?? I like that restaurant.

How could Adventureland even be updated? It’s all killer no filler, as far as I can tell.

Frontierland could benefit from plussing. I’m down for removing the pirate junk from TSI and fixing up the Golden Horseshoe. No Lightning McQueen, please.

Whatever though. This article is pretty worthless.

Since I renewed my pass last January there are literally two spots in Disneyland I have not stepped in. Roger Rabbits Cartoon spin and the Golden Horseshoe. Actually I think it’s been much longer than that for the Golden Horseshoe. Hoping they bring it back to its former glory. With that said I need to step inside there one of these days, go up to the second level and have a snack.

EDIT: oops I forgot about Ogas and Savis workshop. Sometimes I forget GE exists.

Not rumored. Just speculated based on Hungry Bear and French Market getting a refresh as part of the land's update so can see them updating it as part of a Frontierland refresh.

You got something against Roger Rabbit? Boycotting until they add a Hoskins AA?

Golden Horseshoe is criminally underutilized. 2024 Disney parks fans would devour a quality (funny, irreverent, risqué) show in there; Disney could be making (even more) money hand over fist. So much potential.

Never happen. They can't afford to pay a talented entertainer a few hundred dollars a show to bring people in to buy soda and junk food. They didn't make enough profit in the last two years to justify that.

Cost wasn't the issue. Capacity was. It's hard to turn around tables when people are watching a show. Back in the day I was always so frustrated trying to find a table inside, only to find the usual group of APs camped out for the next Billy Hill show. It was a good decision to ax the show for the dining capacity.

Haha no, a Judge Doom AA but seriously Roger Rabbit is not a ride the family cares for, it’s not in the best location, its not worth the 45 minute waits, it’s low on the Toontown priority list for the kids after Gadgets, MMMR and Goofys Play Yard. The Trenchcoat Jessica Rabbit is the cherry on top. It killed whatever nostalgia I had left to get me to ride it once a year.

If you make it a Lunch/Dinner show that lasts 25 minutes. 11:00 slot, 12:00 slot, 1:00 slot, 2:00 slot. Break. 5:00 slot, 6:00 slot, 7:00 slot 8:00 slot. Guests get seated, confirm their order, enjoy roaming interactions. Food comes out, show commences as they eat, then you get up and go. Charge $45 a meal and $55 for preferred seating and you could print money.

Funny, they do just that at Coke Corner (I refuse to call it Refreshment Corner) daily.

Personally I think its too small for it to be a proper pay-for-entertainment seated venue.
