I figure it's probably coming back mostly because there were so many viewing areas, and anything that can help spread out the crowds in that park this summer is a win.

Not to mention the park will likely be drowning in money with all of the Star Wars crowds this summer. That should help with the expenses.

And personally it's also refreshing that the park remembers that Remember is not the only great fireworks show it's ever done. I love Remember and all, but it's time for something different. And if they can't develop a new quality show, then I'm totally fine with them bringing Forever back.

Wonder why DL went with Forever and not RDCT which just played last fall and has a little SW in it incidentally.

"Remember... Dreams Come True" shuts down many backstage and onstage walkways with its Hub-centric launch sites, which probably made it unappealing for the current walkway-minded management. That, plus "Disneyland Forever" has a contingency show that can still play when they are unable to launch the full show.

I was hoping mix magic wouldn’t last. This is great news. Disneyland Forever grew on me, it has some nice moments for sure. I honestly like all of the regular Disneyland shows I’ve seen, remember, magical, and forever all have some lovely moments.

That’s probably all this was huh? One huge test during the off season to see if they could get away with projection only shows. I’d throw out the data though because Mickey Mix Magic looked like a terrible show.

i saw it twice and people seemed to enjoy it, The show was better when seen in person than seeing it on video. The one thing i did find off was the terrible pacing of the fireworks they didn't seem to follow any kind of pacing to the music.

They also missed out adding more props on the building roofs to replace the lack of fireworks during the week.

Ya that was my biggest takeaway watching the video of the show. The fireworks were doing their thing completely out of sync with the show. I also didn’t like the intro or main song.

I don’t get the love for Wishes, here’s my ranking of Castle Firework Shows:
1. Holiday Wishes
2. Happily Ever After
3. Halloween Screams
4. Disneyland Forever
5. Hallowishes
6. Remember Dreams Come True
7. Old WDW 4th of July Show
8. Believe in Holiday Magic
9. Wishes
10. Fantasy in the Sky 25

11. Mickey’s Mix Magic

Fixed that for ya.

Mix Magic looks great and is amazing for the people standing in the small area called Main street. Otherwise the effects just aren't as saturated. I don't even think there is snow around the hub. I think they picked Forever because unlike RDCT they can blast the music in SWGE without projections and the pyro heavy show will carry itself. RDCT is too hub centric IMHO for the crowds that they are predicting.
