All I'm trying to say is I don't think it's coming back, or if so I think its bigger than just replacing the dragon - as in a full re-imagining to the level of Fantasmic 3.0They will take all the time they want and need. They’re not looking for your approval, nor mine’s, nor anyone else’s.
LOL. Even if they had the budget for it, no way can they build a new dragon in that time.I have given them time. They've had 7 months...

Mostly, I was trying to bring attention back to the idea of a full refresh so we could discuss what you'd want or expect in a Fantasmic 3.0It hasn’t even been a year yet…
Look at the pace they work in WDW........I work for a large corporation. You would be surprised how long simple things take. It took them four years to refurbish the Tree House. Building a new dragon could take years.
It’s possible. And it was definitely possible to get the show back up and running by now without the dragon.LOL. Even if they had the budget for it, no way can they build a new dragon in that time.
Did they ever rebuild the water tower building in Frontierland? It’s possible. And it was definitely possible to get the show back up and running by now without the dragon.
It’s a budget decision, just like the delays to bring back the railroad signals

That's when the trash cans were first moved. It only took 2 years for the tree (which is still insane), why does everyone keep saying 4, am I missing something? Am I going crazy? Someone help me
Personally I don't want Fantasmic without the dragon. I'd rather not have a show missing it's final climax. It's the grand finale. It’s possible. And it was definitely possible to get the show back up and running by now without the dragon.

This just goes back to the decision of them ditching the Malificient on a lift as a B-mode for an inferior projection a real head-scratcher.Personally I don't want Fantasmic without the dragon. I'd rather not have a show missing it's final climax. It's the grand finale.
I've seen one or two showings where the dragon didn't come out and was only on a screen and IMO it wasn't worth watching.
I don’t think we’ll know if 7 months is enough time until we see the finished product.Seven months probably is enough time to build a new dragon animatronic. Seven months is not enough time to come together for a plan (multiple times, mind you) have discussions, go back and forth on said discussions, establish a budget, create concept art, agree to the new plan, and fully execute and debut said new plan, new dragon animatronic and all.
Disneyland was built in a year, but there was plenty of prep and planning time before that. That all needs to be considered. And let’s be honest, the opening of Disneyland was rushed.
No announcements/concept art doesn’t automatically mean nothing’s happening.
Imagine if that HULU Money went to the Parks......same with ABC/ESPN and Fox..........Sadly, I'd guess that Disney has far...FAR larger problems to worry about than getting "Murphy" rebuilt. Burbank is in the middle of a Boardroom hurricane right now and they are scrambling to figure out how they will finance their HULU purchase. Do they burn every dollar they have left in cash? Do they pay Universal in stock? Do they take on another high interest loan and get deeper in debt?
Right now Josh and Bob don't want to hear anybody ask them about that dragon...and i'd bet nobody has the gutts to ask them right now. Lol (kidding)
Let's see how good or bad tomorrow's end of fiscal year earning's call goes. I dont see Disney making ANY spending plans untill AFTER the HULU deal is fully done and Disney can assess their financial damage.
