Here are the distances to major European cities from my resort in Croatia.

Zagreb, Croatia: 10.39 miles (16.72 kilometers)
Rome, Italy: 314.29 miles (505.80 kilometers)
EuroDisney Resort, France: 658.94 miles (1,060.47 kilometers)
Berlin, Germany: 487.88 miles (785.17 kilometers)
Madrid, Spain: 1,058.42 miles (1,703.37 kilometers)
London, United Kingdom: 839.34 miles (1,350.79 kilometers)
Moscow, Soviet Union: 1,167.43 miles (1,878,79 kilometers)

Are they appropriate distances for this resort?

Well the log ride thing doesn't matter, I was just describing how something that has nothing to do with this resort would have looked like.

As for the Countdown to Extinction track I wasn't thinking about the one you have at this resort, I was talking about the one at Disneyland in California. I forgot that your version would probably follow a different track. But Temple of the Forbidden Eye and DINOSAUR follow the same exact track layout. If you still don't believe me here's some proof:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DINOSAUR#Trivia

Also the whole "First, the guest in the riverboat scenario later found out that what he saw was only a dream," doesn't really make sense. I know this resort doesn't really exist (Perhaps that what you meant by "It was only a dream") but if this were a real-life resort then that means that what he just saw was real as it is there in the flesh (Bricks, wood, nails, bolts, paint, and all). So it doesn't really make sense that something that living, breathing people are walking around and riding rides in is only a dream because then none of them would exist and that whole land would be imaginary and non-existent. Forgive me, Disneyland and its many "spin-off" theme parks are definitely the kingdom of dreams, but not REAL dreams. If Disneyland was a real dream then everything would be hazy, there would be some pretty weird things running about the place, and the guest's experience would end randomly when they wake up. And the only reason I came up with the riverboat scenario is to show another reason why those particular attractions don't fit in Critter Country. It doesn't make much sense to be riding a 1800's riverboat through the wild west then suddenly see a museum of the future, a futuristic marine observatory, a Canadian village, and a British teddy bear from the 100 Acre Woods. It just doesn't work all too well.

There are many things wrong with this. First, the guest in the riverboat scenario later found out that what he saw was only a dream. Second, there are a few minor differences betwen CTX's layout and IJA's layout. Last, but not least, I have never been to Knott's Berry Farm. So, I do not know what their log flume looks like.

Again I ask, why have an OPEN BRAINSTORMING thread if you consistently reject all suggestions and ideas given to you. You address very few of the points made and questions asked and are very defensive about your ideas instead of giving reasons for sticking with them. Again, consider this a friendly intervention. But in the future, if you don't want input, just don't ask for it.

Never trust Wikipedia.

Is that all ur going to say. Talk to him and everyone else about how the park can be made better. Dont go on with him forever saying that IJA and CTX dont have the same track layout. Actually get somewhere with ur park. I do agree with Crazy Harry about u getting defensive when someone posts their opinion(just putting that out there).

When Disneyland debuted Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Forbidden Eye in 1995 it was a smash success from day one. Fully immersive and full of technological breakthroughs the Indy Adventure became a major draw for the park, often seeing lines snaking all the way to, and even past the central hub. This attraction manages to pull together everything Disney does best; great story telling and an exciting and unique presentation made for a real winner of an attraction. Many consider Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye to in fact be Disney's, if not the world's greatest theme park attraction to date.

Well Wikipedia doesn't matter, neither does the layout of Countdown to Extinction and Indiana Jones Adventure. We are talking about this theme park, not Animal Kingdom and Disneyland.

So please explain to me how what the riverboat scenario saw was a dream?

Again this is just a friendly intervention, so we just want to hear your input.

And again if this is an open brainstorming then everyone should be able to post their own ideas to help you with this resort.

I meant that the guy on the riverboat had too many Dole Whips and saw a bunch of stuff that really was not there.

So if this little Critter Country land is the figment of some guys' imagination after eating too many dole whips, then why are we arguing about something that's made of pineapple juice and ice?

So now the land doesn't exist all together?

Not exactly, the land does not exist in his mind, but it does in everyone else.

Okay so this guy has had too many Dole Whips. He then hallucinates and sees a land that isn't really there. It is only a dream caused by the frozen Pineapple treats. But even though he sees it, it doesn't exist in his mind. But it exists in everybody else's minds? So they get to see it and experience it, and he doesn't? This doesn't make sense at all, I'm sorry...
