Better yet, since Disney owns FOX, lets bring back The Tick! They could have a parade featuring Captain Liberty and American Maid.

As mentioned, The Tick is creator owned so it would need a bit of outside licensing to get him back.

On the other hand, America Chavez, even if she isn’t perma-dead, isn’t a Captain America, let alone the Captain America, and if she stays dead she will be neither.

That Liberace was a hip dude. Some would say he's feelin' groovy.

That video clip of Liberace appearing on The Red Skelton Show circa 1968 was playing on a huge video screen at a gay bar for gentlemen of a certain age, ahem, in Palm Springs last winter... and I was mesmerized! 🤣 o_O🤣

You can tell it's the Skelton show because they always had that big rotating stage they used for all their musical production numbers. I'm pretty sure that show was done at Television City, which would have had massive/swanky facilities like that.

Liberace was truly a national treasure. He reminds me that we are a nation of great and fabulous people, and we deserve to celebrate ourselves in a really big way next year! Don't screw this one up, Potrock! 🇺🇸🥳

One thing that probably should be left in the history books is all those giant bobble-head people Disneyland had in its America On Parade parade, er... parade? Those don't really translate well to the 21st century, and even looked weird back then.

There's definitely a chance to boost and redecorate the Disneyland entrance points on Harbor Blvd. and the parking structures. If they can do this in '76 to the sign....

Then there's no good reason why this has to look so small and underwhelming...

Watching that video, I was concerned that Liberace's face would break if he smiled too big.

The Kids Of The Kingdom would now like to speak to you, backstage. You should probably bring something sharp to defend yourself with, they're tougher than they look. 😁

And when was the last time they actually performed in any venue especially Disneyland? 1970 something? Times change my friend, what was once considered light and fun are now considered cringe by the masses.

I'm afraid you aren't getting it. 🧐

There's a reason why Disneyland makes a mint on its nostalgia private parties for various decades, and why 1970's cheesy schmaltz like The Village People just performed at a Presidential Inaugural Ball (If you had tried to tell someone in 1978 that would happen, and the President would even dance to them, they would think you were on drugs. Heavy 1970's drugs.)

People love nostalgia. People love schmaltz. Do it correctly, and they go crazy over it. I say... Bring back The Kids Of The Kingdom for the 250th!!! And put them in their red-white-and-blue matching sweater sets!

No I get it. I'm just afraid its going to go over like a lead balloon with today's modern audiences, especially when a majority of Park goers weren't even alive the last time they performed in Disneyland. Heck some of their parents weren't even alive.

Ever wonder why Disney hasn't brought back this or similar groups in any of their throwback nostalgia heavy themed nights? Yeah, like I said cringe.

They NEED to bring back that sign that looks like the classic one of yore.
Do a modern take if need be, but keep it nostalgic and BIG!
That dinky one on Harbor just doesn’t cut it…

Disney used to do patriotism really well. It was what the park was built on. We wouldn't have Frontierland, Main Street and Tomorrowland without it. Now Disney treats at as antique or worst a dirty word. There is nothing wrong with taking pride in the country. After we were attacked on 9/11 everyone supported the country.
