I just want red, white, and blue bunting back on Main Street, gosh darn it! It's not summer at Disneyland without patriotic decorations.

And we didn’t get them last summer either because of Pixar Fest right? Hopefully they come back in a big way next year for the 250th. While they re at it bring back America Sings. Did they take care of those AAs they yanked out of Splash? Maybe an MSEP return with proper into and finale float as well.

I don't think they've put up the patriotic decorations at all this decade.

If DCA wants to get in on the action a patriotic new version of Soarin visiting all the natural wonders in this country with a finale in Disneyland with 4th of July fireworks going off would be pretty cool.
Or just bring back the California film for good cause it’s a better fit for that park?

They already do that every Spring for Food n Wine. That also wouldn’t highlight the whole country. But yes I’d love the California version to be back full time and have World be seasonal.

I wouldn’t expect anything beyond MESP returning and Rogers: the musical coming back. Just a hunch though. We’ll see.

I don’t expect anything beyond bunting and maybe a beefed up 4th of July fireworks that they’ll play all summer. Anything beyond that would be a bonus.

Soarin over California being seasonal would be like Classic HM being seasonal and instead having HMH 7 months a year. They know that more people prefer the California version and having World be seasonal would still accomplish the same thing California does for Food n Wine in a park full of annual passholders. Doesn’t make any sense.

Guess "Parade of Dreams" really was the final true "Anniversary Parade" for a major anniversary at the US Disney Parks. Glad Tokyo/OLC is keeping anniversary parades alive and kicking.

It's kind of a shame that the American Disney parks doesn't get anniversary parades anymore
Magic Happens was the last one
Magic Happens doesn't count as an anniversary parade since that debuted in 2020. A few years after Disneyland's 60th Anniversary Celebration ended.

I think I already know the answer but I have to ask: I've already bought a 3-day non-hopper ticket I intend to use 5/16-19. Any chance of a rebate for the 70th anniversary ticket offer?

I'm struggling to place where this is. Is it near Pixie Hollow?

Meaning the 70th tickets are cheaper? No they won’t give you a money back but they will usually let you upgrade/ give them more money.

It's not as bad as I thought. I bought my AAA tickets including LLMP ($96) for $481.99. Backing out $96 for LLMP gives a AAA base rate of $385.99. I only paid $25.99 more than the 70th anniversary tix ($385.99 - 360 = $25.99).

DLR base rate is $415.00 so those are $55.00 more than the 70th anniversary tix ($415 - 360 = $55.00.)

Yes. I bought my tickets through AAA for $481.99. Keep in mind these are cheaper than regular price through DLR. The DL 70th anniversary tickets for 3 non-park hopper days, starting May 16 through August, is $360. I could have saved $121.99. Oh well.
The Mouse isn't good at giving back money.
