Boy, really pushing the "strong female characters" angle, aren't they?

Funny thing about the Disney princess movies.

After Snow White, Walt didn't make another "princess" story for 13 years; nowadays, we get a new princess movie approximately every eighteen months. Not that it has anything to do with the princess "brand."

So much for imagination, creativity, dreams, etc.

That's all opinions but it's pretty universally agreed on that WDW has a far superior TOT. Then there's subjective things like the longer Haunted Mansion and more spread out Splash Mountain. The removed DL classics like Country bear jamboree, Peoplemover, carousel of progress, the Astro orbitor on a higher level. The long animatronic rides like spaceship earth and great movie ride, the live animals on Kilimanjaro safaris. Unique resorts like animal kingdom lodge, the contemporary with the monorail going through and roof top restaurant with amazing views to watch the fireworks. Plus world showcase which has two circle vision shows, an animatronic show, two boat rides and each country with unique cultural elements.

Sounds great to me! I'm sure as a first time visitor it will be amazing. I'm very excited to compare versions of certain attractions. It will also be kind of surreal to see a remix of a Disneyland. With familiar attractions in different locations etc. Of course I want to do everything we don't have over here so...seven dwarfs mine train, RNRC, EE, etc. It 'll also be cool to see CBJ again after so many years and go on the COP for the first time. I've read that AK is a beautful park and Pandora should be awesome. Overall I think just being at different Disney parks where I don't know every nook and cranny will be the most exhilarating. I've been to DL more times than I can count.... Still love it though.

Of TOT, HM, and Splash the first two seem to be universally accepted as the superior version at WDW. The verdict on the better Splash seems closer to 50/50. Of course I have only seen the YouTube ride thru for WDWs but the dings that the DL splash gets are actually the things that I like about the ride. I love the pacing and that the interior scenes are more like a FL dark ride. I also prefer the southern music at DLs version to the more Western sounding soundtrack at WDW. I also heard the final drop is more thrilling at DL.
