Never been to WDW. Eventhough everything Ive read in these chat rooms and elsewhere say DLR is far superior I would still love to see it at least once. At this point I'm waiting for Pandora to open. I feel like a WDW vacation would have to be like 2 weeks. I would need at least 4-5 days for Disney and 2 days for Universal. There's just something about going to a theme park 7 days straight that doesn't seem like a vacation to me. Haha
That's all opinions but it's pretty universally agreed on that WDW has a far superior TOT. Then there's subjective things like the longer Haunted Mansion and more spread out Splash Mountain. The removed DL classics like Country bear jamboree, Peoplemover, carousel of progress, the Astro orbitor on a higher level. The long animatronic rides like spaceship earth and great movie ride, the live animals on Kilimanjaro safaris. Unique resorts like animal kingdom lodge, the contemporary with the monorail going through and roof top restaurant with amazing views to watch the fireworks. Plus world showcase which has two circle vision shows, an animatronic show, two boat rides and each country with unique cultural elements.

I'm already not liking this....SHOW THE FRIGGIN PARK! I don't give 2 Schmidts about who can sing songs or dance or anything that doesn't show rides or this stupid Award show Bull....I'll stick to enjoying the 30th anniversary special. This one was much better.

The audience in the auditorium is really excited! Some of the people's facial expressions are crazy.

Basically...It's this...

I knew with that many celebrities on the list and only 2 hours we weren't going to get much Park time. I also figured all the secret stuff wasn't going to be news to us on this board. I'm liked the little history that Dame Helen gave us. More like that please. Performances don't bother me. I'm interested in Petes Dragon now. So I guess it's working.

Oh god a "losing your virginity" joke? SERIOUSLY?!?!

The first five minutes were, y'know, sorta ok, I guess.

I'll be pleasantly surprised if the Star Wars stuff is more than rehashed concept art and movie clips.

There's got to be SOMETHING to it....I can't imagine them paying Harrison Ford to present it if they aren't going to have some substance.
