Honestly, I like to think that this takes place in a universe where Eisner made sure DLP would appeal to the French, so it actually becomes a success, so that means the Beauty and the Beast animatronic show did end up getting built; along with the Little Mermaid ride, the bigger Discovery Mountain and a more elaborate Indiana Jones ride.

Basically, a universe where DLP looks like it does on the 1992 Fun Map.

Agreed.

I'll make it canon!

Oh dear - I'm a bit late! I actually have an insane amount of digitally made Disneyland concept art maps, including a Neverland water park, a WestCot Sptings shopping distract, the Tomorrowland Space Hotel, an updated Disneyland, some California Adventure land art, and a third park, PortDisney. But - I don't have my device right now. I'l upload them here ASAP

In Disneyland Park, Hollywoodland should put near by Main Street USA, which it will connected to Disneyland Plaza with attractions The Great Movie Ride, Baby Herman's Runaway Baby Buggy Ride, Toontown Transit, Superstar Television and Dick Tracy's Crimestoppers. Toontown will have Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin (two level), MuppetVision 3D, The Little Mermaid dark ride, Mickey's House, Minnie's House, Goofy's Bounce N' House, Donald's Boat.

Nice! Do you have a map of the property?

If not... I know we'll need one if you would be interested in taking it on! That DL map you did is seriously amazing!

I hate to keep going back to WestCOT, but I can't stop thinking about what Sam Carter shared earlier in the month. This was how the "Four Corners of the World" were going to be laid out. Maybe, if we decide to do WestCOT as a shopping district, this could help us set up the World Showcase therein.

I agree.... Honestly I'm Pro the Whole Westcot into a Downtown Disney concept. But, let me start a poll to see what everyone's thinking.

Also, guys, I just spent time trying to find Jim Hill's initial post about what was supposed to come to Disneyland during the proposed Disney Decade; and I finally found it. Here you go!

For the TL;DR, here's what Disneyland was supposed to get. Maybe we can use this for this project.
  • The Young Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular at the Big Thunder Ranch arena
  • Here Come the Muppets at Videopolis Theater (Fantasyland Theatre)
  • Mickey's Starland (which eventually became Toontown) featuring Muppet*Vision 3D and a Little Mermaid dark ride
  • Tomorrowland 2055 featuring Alien Encounter, Plectu's Fantastic Intergalactic Revue and a new Circle-Vision 360 (although the way it's described in the article, it basically sounds like Timekeeper)
  • Hollywoodland -- to be built in-between Tomorrowland and Main Street; featuring Dick Tracy's Crimestoppers, Toontown Trolley, Baby Herman's Runaway Buggy Ride, The Great Movie Ride and Superstar Television
But, if I may makes some suggestions, here's what I propose we could do with this.

First off, Indiana Jones Adventure > Young Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular. Heck, maybe we could even do the original Lost Expedition concept!

Little Mermaid absolutely fits Fantasyland more than Toontown, so I propose we have it sit where the Hyperion hangar is in @Architectural Guinea Pig's map design. That way, if we decide to scale back the Submarine lagoon, the castle could sit on the edge of it. I feel we should use the Fantasyland Theatre space for a different new ride. Maybe this is where we could put Pooh so it doesn't have to replace Country Bears.

TOMORROWLAND 2055 NEEDS TO BE A THING IN THIS PROJECT TIMELINE. THAT IS ALL.

Hollywoodland would be fun to try and pull off, so maybe we could work with that. Honestly, I'd kinda like to go with what they originally intended for Muppet*Vision -- have it replace Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln. I know, I'm basically speaking sacrilege, but still. If this isn't okay, we could always carve out space for it in Hollywoodland, should we decide to go with it. I feel like we should only go with one Roger Rabbit-based attraction -- sorry, @DisneyFan32 -- because that would give us more space to do some new stuff.

Funny you mention that, because Carter also came up with the idea of having WestCOT sit on the old strawberry field space / current Toy Story Lot. He created this "Blue Sky" proposal putting it on the strawberry field space, and the drawing clearly shows DCA in the background.

Toontown Transit could be a one Roger Rabbit attraction for Hollywoodland, a wild simulator ride will be amazing.

Looks like a bunch of tiebreakers - but the Waterpark at a Discoveryland/Jules Verne theme is a landslide. So I guess that's a good default way to start while we wait on the rest?
