Do they not have someone on call to tranquilize the bear? Disney owns a whole zoo...

One must have Florida Fish and Wildlife commission for permission to do so. It can't just be done.

That being said, it is kind of bad on Disney's part that this still going on for being a resort with so many resources that is aware these things can happen with all the land they have.

As a city gal that's never seen a real bear, that would be real cool for me. I didn't even know Florida HAD bears

Oh yes, many blackbears. Harder to find in populated areas and not as big typically as ones elsewhere in the country(kind of like FL deers in that sense)


There was one years ago on Hard Rock Hotel grounds at Universal.


Don't forget, much of the cast of the Country Bears are from FL. The bonnet trio are from Tampa!

Side note, while the attractions are down I imagine this means much of the restaurants and revenue options are closed in those areas as well.
