I'm having the same trouble. Eventually i realized i had logged in during one of my many attempts but then i hadn't gotten any welcome or new page up either.

Im not having issues with that. Im having problems loading up my info for my upcoming trip. It takes forever to load...anybody know how?
That's what's not working for me. You know how it says you have so many messages for the trip? That's never worked for me, what sort of messages are in there?

a couple weeks ago I logged in to make my final payment, and it kept coming up that my reservation could not be found  i called reservations right away and they said they were having a hard time getting into the system but that my reservation was still active (thank goodness).

But even now I sometimes still get the message they can't find my reservation.

I hate the Disney website. It's slow, cumbersome, and never wants me to browse quickly.
Hear hear. I hate even going on there because I have to wait for all the irrelevant videos to start and animations to finish bouncing around before I can get anywhere...and that's on a cable connection.

I can't even imagine trying to navigate that monstrosity on dial-up.

Why can't they have a bare-bones option for humbugs like me who just want to see what we're there for without all the bells and whistles?

They have one.

On any page on the WDW site, look in the upper right-hand corner, above the search box. (To the right of the Passholders | Florida Residents links)There's a link that kinda blends in that allows you to switch to the "Low Bandwidth Site". As far as I know, it sets a cookie and remembers this choice until you change it back.
