To be fair there was a pretty good line at the Bakery in France. Also Raglan Road on St. Patrick's day was hopping ( Not unexpected) Plus the fact that two of the members of Off Kilter were playing didnt hurt the crowd levels there either. Other than that, it wasnt overly crowded at all. Marie

In the Parks
No
Not sure if that would really have the impact as it does exclude MK, which would be the lure to get the younger families over in the first place. Marie

I think they think folks will be adding on a 1-day ticket to MK regardless as part of their visit to Epic or they think folks will want to naturally visit MK due to it being the main castle park and with the addition of the light parade.

On one of these nonsense threads bobs Swiss guard attempted to say it wasn’t spring break

The significant % of college kids and family groups beg to differ

There just wasn’t enough of either

Can you combine things such as the 50% off kids ticket with the free dining plan promo? If so, that makes a summer trip much more reasonable.
Unfortunately no you will need to purchase of a non-discounted 4-night, 4-day (or longer) package that includes a room at select Disney Resort hotels and a ticket with a Park Hopper option.

Do we already know which days halloween parties are? I want to take my little nephew with this 50% deal, but don’t wanna book for a party night 😶‍🌫️

So that’s about $4,100 at the cheapest room on property for a party of 4 for 4 days

The “jumping off point”…and then the real expenses…errr…”fun”…I mean…gets going

Random weekdays in mid June

A reminder: when the Wall Street journal article slamming them came out a month ago…they “responded” and said it costs as low as $3,400 for 5 days for that

And since it’s dictionary day…I looked up: “response” and couldn’t find the definition that said: blatant lie.

It’s just not my day 🤷🏻‍♂️

Get the dates from last year and adjust for the slight change. So if last year the parties were on a Tuesday they will probably be on a Tuesday this year, just a day forward or back on the date. If I recall correctly, they started in later August last year. Marie

Mid August they start

Unless Im wrong (which happens a lot)…this hook doesn’t go into that season

August is slow…so those parties are likely why they don’t

We've been saying since last year that their internal survey data from young families said it was unaffordable. And given the "nostalgia" they depend on, skipping a generation would've been disasterous.

Do we have data that the demographic mix of WDW has actually changed to less kids? I see this oft repeated, but I assume it's based on some substantiated figures you are privy to. Or more a forthcoming risk?

The ticket offer seems to line up with Disneyland's 50$ kids ticket, that has seemed to be pretty successful for them the last couple years.

Point of order:

As near as I can recall…they’ve never given “data” beyond revenue figures required for financial disclosures…ever…for parks

None. No disclosure

All the numbers we ruminate are estimated by media and/or travel tracking sites…

Not from Disney
