For some reason, when you enter Space Mountain, there is a unique AC smell in the queue. Love that smell and it has always stuck with me.

When I was in California a few years back the rest stop off the high way was right by the ocean and it smelled exactly like Soarin', it was an instant flashback to WDW.

Normally though the sometimes the smell of chlorine makes me think of Pirates of the Caribbean and camp fires make me think of Rome burning in Spaceship Earth.

As a girl if I was ever asked "favorite smell" I'd say proudly "The smell inside of Pirates of the Caribbean at Disney World!" And then I'd have to explain "It's kind of like this, but not really plus this and this..." When I found out they do pump in a dirt smell when I was older it blew my mind it wasn't just in my head. Actually most of the smell I like with that ride is the chlorine in the water mixed with just that old smell from it being an old ride.

I thought the smell was the water. Because IaSW has the same smell

For me, it's the smell of every merchandise shop at WDW. They all have the same weird mixture of candy, plastic and cleaning solution smell.

The lobby at the Contemporary has a very distinctive smell...one that I would "recognize" if I smelled it elsewhere.

I have some clients from Norway...was meeting with them when they came to town, and I smelled something that reminded me of Disney...couldn't put my finger on it, though. Finally figured out that at least of of them was wearing Geir, the cologne sold in the store in the Norway pavillion at EPCOT.

The lobby at OKW has a distinctive smell to me. I've stayed there on every Disney trip I've been on except for one since 1992, and it's just familiar.

Haunted Mansion...randomly I will be someplace and smell it. I can't even tell you now where I would be when I'd notice it.

There is an air freshener that my mother has at her house that always smells exactly like the food smells during the Beauty and the Beast scenes of Philharmagic. Each time I smell it I start singing "Be our guest, be our guest."

I was riding my bike today, and as we have had a TON of rain, many ditches and canals are overflowing. Some uncleared properties are a little swampy as well. Anyway, when I drove by one of the swampy pieces of land, I could swear I was in Splash Mountain- then zipity doo da was stuck in my head for the rest of the ride LOL! Later, I drove over a small bridge with a rapid current- the sound and smell of the water- PotC!
