S1 5k; s2 challenge for me
Did anybody see Wine and Dine shoe ornaments? I’ve gotten a race one for each on-site weekend I’ve done and only saw the generic runDisney (not race-specific) ones out. Seemed like a little smaller selection than I remembered it before (no Tervis tumblers that I could find either this go around), so they may just not have bothered with them.

The shoe ornament is stuck on the dock, according to the CM I picked my pre-ordered items from.

For those running the 5k tomorrow, I see we wl have a rainy day. Joy.
@DznyGrlSD, please stay safe. You know how those Florida storms can escalate in a short amount of time.
A little rain would be nice. A repeat of the 2018 SW 5k won't....

On the bright side, it’s supposed to be 70F the entire time, so at least we can take freezing temps out of the equation on whether to bother with a rain jacket and figuring out what to do with it once the race starts.
I don’t mind running in the rain, just keeping my fingers crossed that there aren’t any lightning strikes to accompany it that could impact being able to have the race at all.

They are calling it a Florida Nor'Easter. Lots of rain, strong winds and dropping temperatures behind it. Sundays race will be in the 50s.

Good night y'all.
For some reason I thought you were only doing the 10K this weekend. At least your races will be warmer than mine - looking like at most it will be in the low 40s when I run my 10K on Sunday - and that is with a NOON starting time. My director will be running the 20K and it’ll only be about 35-38 degrees when he starts.
There have been a few runDisney races with those temps. The frozen 5K in 2015, the Half you did in 2018.
50s is the perfect running temps.
