I had a great race!! Congratulations to the entire group. One of my better runs but most importantly I felt strong the entire way. Carissa stopped the presses and immediately played Christmas music when I crossed. I couldn’t believe how engaging she was with me at the finish!!
1:50 final, with a pretty major port a potty stop around mile 6. Yikes. But that’s running!! Haha

Virtual Half and Virtual Two Course Challenge completed. Was a hard fought battle that I’m happy is now concluded. More on that in the Marathon Weekend thread. As for this thread, I even was able to honor the challenge by running the 10K and Half on back to back days as it was intended to be run. I even ran them on the same day as the in-person racers ran them.

What WAS the deal with Corral E?
I liked the changes to the course. Lots of time in Hollywood Studios.

So I heard a lot of complaints. I think runDisney did a poor job explaining all of that. I get why they did it but I think the execution could’ve been better.
I missed the 10K on Saturday. Was there a Corral E for that race and what was the explanation?
I saw the sign saying corral E was on the other side of the stage and Carissa & John joking about it Sunday AM.

I was in B and felt horrible for the people in E. Still hate the portion between studios and Epcot because of how narrow it gets. Fun weekend overall though! Hope everyone had a blast

Yes there was but the 10K is a smaller race so less people per corral. The corrals for the half were very large. This was actually the largest Wine & Dine Half Marathon ever in terms of finishers.
Thought it seemed bigger. I was in the 3rd wave of Corral B and it seemed the fireworks kept going off for another 40 minutes.
