I guess I cant make any FP reservation because I dont have park tickets yet ... (gonna get an AP on thursday ...)

Made one dining reservation (because Be our Guest can't be skipped, not even during Wine and Dine) so far. I dont like planning a lot of things anyway. Feeling more ready and ready for this trip. Havent trained, but what's new with my runDisney prepartions

You can buy the AP and make your FastPasses. But the AP won’t start until the first time you enter a park. I did the same thing.

Okay Wine and Dine experts, I have only done Princess before and I'm wondering if the Expo for Wine and Dine has the same crazy lines as Princess? I have a fastness for Frozen in Epcot from 2pm-3pm and I'm debating if I should be at the expo for opening or would the lines die down around the evening (around 4pm). I'm not looking for any hot ticket items just some RunDisney march.

Other than the wine glass @dreamfinder mentioned, I haven't seen any special stuff that would cause craziness like D&B bags, Pandora charms, Alex & Ani bracelets, limited edition MBs, etc. I preorder everything, so the only rD merch I'm planning on getting are the "I Did It" shirts. And some more Bodyglide. I get there by 10:30ish and I'm usually out by 1PM at the latest.

I agree, the Princess Expo is utter chaos. Next to that is Star Wars - the 2020 one will be nuts as Galaxy's Edge will be open by then.

Yeah no challenge.

After Dopey 2018, 4 early mornings, 4 races, and bc I took care of myself and wanted to legit compete, I was at the parks very sporadically and not often. Which was fine!!

So WineDine is a short weekend for me and I want to do parks-and Typhoon- so just one race!! This way I can get on more rides and stay out late!!

Agree with everyone. W&D is a popular race but it's never been crazy at the expo. I know Star Wars gets non-runners for merch. Guess Princess is the same? Or just better merch?

I'd say it's the subject matter. Star Wars & Princesses lend themselves to better designs and have more wearability.
