Ok so I get home this evening to see that DVC called us. (I seen on our caller id ) we do have a trip planned in August, but was curious why they would be calling, but left no message....Anyone have this happen ? It was kinda nice to see their name on my Id but curious why:shrug:

Could possibly be your guide trying to do a little sales pitch, or a call that your guide might be changing. While I haven't gotten a phone call yet I am definitely seeing an uptick in the marketing communications as they try to really sell the rest of BLT and Aulani.

I got mail from DVC yesterday...its been almost 2 years since we did the tour and did not go with it and this is the first (maybe second) time we have gotten any mail. Which is fine...I was really surprised when I saw it.

I saw they called me too the other evening. I figured they were calling to follow up on the webcast I viewed recently.

It was probably the webcast you viewed. I viewed the Hawaii DVC webcast and then received a call. They were very nice and kept saying they were sorry to bother me and get me back to what I was doing. They sent me material for the DVC in Hawaii. Spent a lot of money on that material they sent me.

AHH Ok did watch that Webcast when it was first on. They spend money on that material but yet the Disney planning video packet is getting so cheesy, (yes I still need to get one every year)!

I got a call also, but it was when we gotten bacl. They also sent is a package in the mail along with a CD. Not sure if i want to purchase this or not......

Haven't got any calls like that recently, but we did receive one last year concerning our guy. He retired so we had to do the whole changing of the guards so to speak.

I think our guy was retired for us, if you know what I mean, really nice guy. New guy's name is Jack something. We don't like him, he's very short when we call and doesn't seem willing to go the extra mile at all. Any recommendations for someone who is a good bit nicer?

Ours isn't all that great either, He got us and well thats about it, although I guess to expect anymore is kinda crazy right?!

Patti Douglas or Randy Krueger are both awesome! My father deals with Patti while I deal with Randy.

I got a weird phone call to day asking if Iwas interested in renting my points that need to be banked? Do you think this is related?? I never before received anything like this.:shrug:

Be careful. There have been a lot of scams lately where fake companies are calling owners asking if they want to sell points or contracts. Long story short you end up losing money and getting no where. Unless you are receiving calls from Disney (which you wouldn't be for something like this), then just ignore them.

I think my sister's rep is Karen Jacobson. I've talked to her too. She's a good one to deal with.
