We are staying onsite for the first time:sohappy::sohappy: and i would like to know how long it will take to get from Pop to the parks so i can plan what time we need to catch the bus etc

As an example, if you want to be sure to be at the park when it opens, and let's say the park opens that day at 08:00, then be at the bus stop at 07:15.
That allows time for your bus to arrive and for the travel time and for you to get to the park gate.

Good luck
:)

The following is from The Unofficial Guide:

MK - 8:30
Epcot - 6:30
DAK - 6:15
DHS - 5:00

Keep in mind this is from when wheels start rolling as you leave, to when they stop when you arrive. How long you have to wait on a bus to actually arrive at the stop will increase your wait.

I usually give myself 45 min to an hour no matter where I am coming from or going to. The worst thing that happens then is that you show up early and wait in line at the games for a little while.

As others have said 30 - 45 mins is normally plenty. Remember that this may be quite a lot longer when the parks close and you want to get back. If you leave straight after the nighttime show finishes (or even just before) you will just be one of a huge crowd of people trying to get back to POP on the busses and you may have to wait a long time.

My advice is to not leave early but to enjoy the atmosphere as the parks empty. Take a walk around, visit a few shops, use the opportunity to get some pictures when an area is free of people. By the time you get to the bus stop the queue should be pretty short and you've had a much better end to the day.
