What I meant by small flat ride was maybe either a c ticket ride so it could be a small coaster or it could be a small dark ride like Peter pan etc. but I really want the motorbike coaster and it wont be a suprise if we did get that as part of it sense they are doing it with tron in Shanghai Disneyland

@Lord_Vader

The Lord and Master himself!

So Sith, what do you want in SW land?

...and no, you can't take over the whole thing yourself... You need to share.

Sharing is caring.

I have a long, long wish list...

Mos Eisley Space Port with Cantina, revenge for Greedo! Blue milk for everyone. QS from open to close. Meet and greet for Chewie, R2D2 and C3PO inside the Millenuim Falcon. Most of the queue would be inside the Falcon but start inside the actual port. Star Tous is in the same building too, at least the facade anyway.

I like the Jedi training academy ideas others have posted but would rather see the younglings taught by Darth Sideous... Jk, the AA Yoda sounds like fun for the kiddos.

I would like to see a TS restaurant inside the Jedi temple, have AA Yoda and real Jedi to walk around and help keep the kids entertained. I will get a lot of hate, put put this on the DHS of SW land, right now that would be Echo Lake.

Light vs Dark ride, coaster/dark ride combo with various battles in space, not random but each guest chooses light or dark. Each scene is viewed from the correct perspective. Luke blowing up the Death Star would be light side, Vader blowing up Alderan would be dark and so on... Two rides in one, to see both you have to do it twice.

They could do a combo dark ride coaster like 7DMT, but much longer and all inside and dark.

Love it! Especially the dueling light-dark coaster ride where you choose a side and need to ride it twice.

Very balanced too - you didn't take the place over for the Empire. ;)

Has anyone been to the Star Wars Weekends? I know they are really popular. It's on my bucket list.
Umm yes, a few of us (most of us on this thread anyway) have been to it. Yes they are popular. Depending on the actors who show up for autographs and the parade the crowds can be on par with the christmas to New Years week crowd levels. 36-44,000 visitors daily.

I could get on board - though the "small flat ride" I hope you mean a small dark ride and not a spinner or something.

Though, I still maintain - while the Cantina seems to be the go-to response folks seem to want the most, I think in reality the Cantina isn't nearly as neat as folks think it is. If you really look at it in the films, it's very basic, it's not really much to it - it's just simply such an iconic scene that folks don't break it down into it's elements to see how bland and simplistic it really would be.

Now, Jabba's Palace, on the other hand - that could be one HELL of an experience. So while the Cantina would be great as a side-lounge or something (kind of like the bar at the 50's PTC), I'm really hoping they do up a Jabba's Palace dining experience - now THAT would be sock-knocking. Particularly if it's true and there are Hutts somewhere in the future films.

Some of us HAVE noticed that the 'Cantina' is simply a sparsely furnished dive bar, The best thing about it was the band, But that very simplicity is what makes it LIKELY at WDW as it will be CHEAP TO DO!

Another option could be to do a nightclub vibe like the the one featured in III - then they could do those character dance parties that WDW parks seem to be obsessed with.

That "Mos Eisley Space Port" comment brings up an interesting question.

Once they do a Star Wars land. Would it include multiple areas, "Tatooine, Hoth, Endor, etc"? Or just one, with the rides being the only way you get to see other planets?

Thematically, it makes sense to do the latter. However, it really limits the possibilities and I'm sure it would sour some fans who want to see a lot of what the SW universe offers in person.

What I think/want for SW land is

1. A motor bike coaster like the tron one that's going into Shanghai Disneyland
2.A small flat ride
3. The Cantina
4.a millinum Falcon walk through
Too bad they couldn't use the props from th

I wouldn't mind having different areas throughout the park

I think any food service place should have animatronics, Sonny Eclipse style.

If there's a full service bar in the Cantina, they have to sell drinks called Han Shots and Greedo Shots, just so you can choose to start your drinking with a Greedo Shot first or a Han Shot first.

If there is a full service bar at the Cantina I will need to ask for more limit on my credit card.

I think it works best with a single world (most likely Tatooine) and then a Phase 2 of a different world in another section of the park. If you do have different worlds next to each other, it would be ideal to have some way of demarcating how you are travelling between them.

I agree. I want immersion, not the half done compilation of greatest hits.

There is no way to cover it all. Pick something and do it over the top.

Cue up the "I Wish" song again...

If they use Mos Eisley Spaceport, a ton can be done - it's literally a "jumping off point."

- Various "hangars" to transport guests to different worlds (housing rides).

- Various "outfitters" stores for the plethora of merchandising.

-The cantina dining with an animatronic band and "show."

- Hutt's Palace attraction: Museum showcasing actual Star Wars screen-used props and bill it and things he's collected through "business dealings."

-Hutts Palace Dining: Higher end dining option with a giant Hutt AA presiding over entertainment (live and AA) with characters meals. You could also have planned "skirmishes" scripted during the "show" where they take a video version of a live character and Hutt feeds them to the Sarlac or The Rancor (whichever the audience votes).

PS: ...and if they go with "non-face" characters that still have have masks (Darth Vader) or make-up (Ahsoka), it would be AWESOME for them to go beyond the standard "mime" for guest interaction. Mickey now talks, so why can't Greedo or Boba Fett?

Ok.. You can cut the "I Wish" song now.
