I liked the DisneySky idea posted by Meyers a few years back. After Port Disney I think that that should be our next park. Also, maybe in conjunction with the Celebration-like town idea, we should have a Lone Star State Theme Park. Oh, I know what you're going to say about that...but, learning from the mistakes of DCA, I think we can make a fine park based on the history & cultures of Texas.

Yes. I also loved the DisneySky project... We should talk to Meyers about using it so we aren't flamed for stealing ideas. But! We already have plans for phases 3 and 4. Maybe Park 5?

Disney's Texas Adventure? Not very appealing... Ohhhh! Come and fly over the deserts and polluted water and oil derricks in "Soarin' Over Texas" Neato!

Now we need a name for the town... Something classy, but modern... What to do, what to do...

Not to start a flame-war or anything, but I think that Texas has a varied and interesting enough history to inspire a full-fledged theme park with plenty of e-ticket attractions. I was thinking of calling it "Disney's Lone Star State" or something along those lines.
PS: Don't worry, there won't be a "Soarin' over Texas" attraction. I hate clones.

You know I was just messing... How about one of the original concepts of Soarin'? An omnimover attraction with screens wrapping around you, showing pictures of a certain place?

Remember, of course, that Disney's Lone Star State is just blue sky phase and isn't official yet.

Aldea... I really like that... let's see what else we can come up with.

I think we should maybe be careful with any State-themed ideas for now, let's try and make DTR something a little more universal (and no I'm not saying Universal as in that other place). We gotta think bigger.

I like it, but it has too many amentities that make the resort too Deluxe. Also, the price is a bit high. Again, there are too many restaurants. Most Moderates have only 1 restaurant and a food court.

I think I'll just bump this...

Does anyone want to do anything else for Port Disney? We have Mediterranean Harbor, Lost River Delta, Atlantis, Port Discovery, and the Coral Reef currently untaken...

WOOT! 400th Post!

May I please do Mediterranean Harbor? I already designed much of Hotel Miracosta (more to come soon, when I have time ;).) I'd also like to design a Gulliver's Travels-themed waterpark to be adjacent to Port Disney.

Hi, sorry that I haven't updated in a while, but here's the rest of Downtown Disney.

Isal del Fiesta!

Covering five acres, this island is home to "The Sweet Seven", a baker's half-dozen of uniquely themed clubs that will appeal to any taste.

Drew Carey's Comedy Club
Owned and emceed by the comedian famous for the hit TV series Who's Line Is It Anyway? and The Drew Carey Show, this club is set up in a very similar fashion to the first mentioned show, both in design of theater and show.

Gotta run now, but I'll post the other six clubs later or tomorrow.
