Ah, I see.... Remember, the pool can't be huge, like Stormalong Bay huge, due to the small space.

Wowwww.... Page 2 already....

Is 2 1/2 acres too big then? If so, I'll change it. BTW, I just came up with a name for the swimming pool complex. It will be called the "Scoperta Nuova Del Vespucci" (Italian for "Vespucci's New Discovery".) And the Spa/Health Club will be called "Innamorato Del Navigatore Spa" (Italian for "Navigator's Sweetheart's Spa").

Navigator's Sweetheart Spa??!?!?! This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY RESORT! Imagine the poor kids. "Mommy what does that mean?" "Ummm.... well... Daddy will tell you..."

Yeah, we'll brainstorm about it. It shall be great... lakes will have water paegents. The Magic Kingdom will have the Inspiration show and Fantillusion going at once. DisneySea will have a HUGE water and laser show, similar to IllumiNations, with the globe too, of course. Also included in DisneySea will be a new electrical parade Disney's Under the Seas Lights Parade. This'll be kewl...

Yes, I know. But it is a five-star resort as well ;). What did you think of the name of the swimming pool complex?

I like it, but I think it should stay Vespucci's New Discovery, no Italin, as people will mix up the names.
Okay, the swimming pool complex is now called "Vespucci's Newest Discovery" and the Spa/Health Club "Tuscan Rose Inn."

DisneySea's Mysterious Island... dun, dun, dun.....

Looming in the distance is the great, tall Mt. Prometheous (sp), the icon of the DisneySea Park. Here you will encounter attractions themed to the great works of Jules Verne.

Attractions

Journey to the Center of the Earth Tokyo DisneySea Clone
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea WDW subs, Tokyo ride system
War of the Seas Come to SeaCabs Company's new headquarters to test out their new systems. Go and see creatures at the bottom of the Seas! However, the sea creatures aren't very fond of you, and try to attack you in this High Speed adventure! (Not by Jules Verne)

Shops

Captain Nemo's Sea Supplies

Restaurants

Vulcania Restaurant Clone of TDS's amazingly themed restaurant
Nautilius Galley Located on the dock near Captain Nemo's private submarine, the Nautilus, this counter-service restaurant was designed for his crew to grab a quick bite to eat.

I think an attraction based on H. G. Well's Island of Dr. Moreau would fit very well in Mysterious Island. It should be a conglomeration of Alien Encounter/StormRider in terms of the type of ride that it is.

Cirque du Soleil's Escuridão

This was such a good idea from Disneyland Mid America, that I thought it needed further development.

When the Sun sets, Darkness falls on the Earth. During the Night, all our human dreams, beautiful and monsterous, come alive. A squeaky floor could be a fanciful fairy, creating some magic, or a horrific monster, slithering to scare.

With our imaginations on the run, Darkness can either be the world of our dreams or the world of our nightmares. But with the light of the moon, Luna, and the guidance of the North Star, Stern, our imaginations can create the most amazing, wonderous place...

...But remember, anything can happen in the Darkness.
Escuridão

Main Character List:

Sonora- a corruption of the Italian word for dreamer. She is a young girl lying in her bed in her pajamas until her imagination takes charge, and she is pushed into a world she does not know or understand. It is her dream that we are seeing.

Luna- she gives light to Sonora's dream. She has the grace and beauty of an older woman, but she also has the wit and vivaciousness of a young girl. This character will be played by a singer in her late 30s or 40s. She is dressed in a beautiful white gown, holding the moon behind her head (think halo in religious paintings but a few times bigger). As she floats through the air, she sings of the beauty of the earth and all its creations, but Luna also has a dark side. As the night passes on, the earth begins to block her from the sun. We soon see her as a half moon, then a cresent. Then at the moment of climax, when Sonora needs her the most, she becomes dark.

Stern- a German word meaning star. Like travelers of old, Sonora uses the North Star. He is her guide through her imaginary world. Always carrying a lantern, Stern takes the appearance of a young man (in his 20s). Just like light, he is bright and full of energy sometimes making for a commical scene. But, he is there for one reason: to guide Sonora's imagination on the right path (think, official conscience). When Sonora leaves him, he is determined to protect her, and he saves her at the moment of crisis.

Next, acts and plot.

Here's the plot of the book (it's a science fiction novel by H.G. Wells):
On a deceivingly beautiful island in the South Seas exists the sinister kingdom of Doctor Moreau. Shipwrecked in this seeming paradise, the unfortunate Edward Prendick stumbles upon the wild beastly creations of the sadistic doctor and enters into a bizarre and terrifying world of a doctor who plays an evil God and cruelly creates monstrosities of living creatures.

I was thinking that it should be a dark ride/alien encounter style attraction.

Ooooh. I like both ideas!

Instead of an Indian Lodge theme for a bed and breakfast, how about more of a seaside cottage look? A lodge theme is definetly not the look of a B and B, IMHO.

I'm going to keep the Everglades Lodge idea, but also as a second B&B property work on the kind you suggested, the Atlantic Seaside style. Another idea I have is for a moderate resort, a permanently docked steamship like the Empress Lily, with staterooms and the like.

Prices are a little low on this. You are getting FREE breakfast, and the ratio of guests to CMs would be ensure that this resort would have some of the best service on property. People would pay much higher rates for this place.
