Lol!

You defend Disney's humanitarian efforts and then immediately preach intolerance. That's rich.Do they also take "massive tax write offs" for their worldwide volunteer programs to help kids? No, no they don't. There's no financial incentive to volunteering. Your jaded loathing of Disney is misplaced, ignorant, and does not belong on a website called WDWMagic.
Calling out an obvious troll for derailing a thread and attacking people is not "preaching intolerance". Are we supposed to be "tolerant" towards trolls now?You defend Disney's humanitarian efforts and then immediately preach intolerance.
So you've labelled him a troll after expressing your intolerance. What's next? Would you like to be in charge of indoctrination for all members?Calling out an obvious troll for derailing a thread and attacking people is not "preaching intolerance". I have absolutely no idea what you're going on about now. But you're ranting, so I'm ignoring you now. Seeya. So you've labelled him after expressing your intolerance. What's next? Would you like to be in charge of indoctrination for all members?
Lol. Thanks to my infatuation with this thread I'm going to be working until midnight.
Already drank it.Lol. Thanks to my infatuation with this thread I'm going to be working until midnight.
Can one of my new friends here bring me a Mojito? Please?
Where does that even exist? Why would anyone do it? I've never, ever, never in my life seen, experienced, or remotely heard of anything of the sort. I would laugh if someone even offered it..and wait for the punchline.
Show me an example of a retail store who's prices are different based on location. On the same item. Not a Starbucks or McDonalds.. Show me a corporate owned store such as Anthropolgie or Kate Spade or Under Armour who change their MSRPs on a specific item that is offered at another geographical location.
I haven't been to DS since these stores open, so I haven't seen it. I just find it hard to believe without proof.
Well that's not very friendly.Already drank it.
I guess you've never lived in Hawaii or Alaska
Toysrus is notorious for adjusting prices locally within the toy community as well
Well that's not very friendly.
I have not. So you are saying that the stores I mentioned are changing their prices?
Here's a Kate Spade bag that's pretty popular. I know for a fact it is the same price in 2 stores in 2 different States as well as the website. Is it a different price at the Kate Spade store in Disney Springs? View attachment 173152
What about this Under Armour shirt? Is the price higher at Disney Springs?View attachment 173153
I want to answer this but I'm not sure which category I fall into ....I'm a psychologist from NJ who loves to shop.Could somebody please remind me what the original intent of this post was? Forgive me for not hanging on every post. It's completely off the rails.
It's become a Twilight Zone of 10-cent psychologists, decadent mall shopping pseudo intellectuals and people from New Jersey looking to argue for the sake of argument.
In no particular order.
I understand that companies do this and I think that customers are aware of it; manipulation is by definition a deceptive practice. Not all customers are going to be susceptible to such influence. Certainly with a WDW vacation, one must do their research. The onus is on the customer to know what they are getting, know their options, and decide what they are willing to pay for.
Nice! This thread in a nutshell. My sister-in-law is in marketing, and Christmas a few years ago she almost started a fight by talking about how susceptible people ARE to marketing manipulation tactics. I wish I could remember more of the details she talked about, but the main thing was: if you asked people if they are susceptible, everyone says they aren't or are only sometimes a willing participant "that's a good deal for me, that's why I did X." That's where the almost fight came in, because everyone said, "Of course *THEY* aren't being actually manipulated." And she kept saying that's the point, "You may really believe you aren't, but all the data says you actually do modify your behavior in the way the businesses want and expect."
Maybe it is.Who cares it's not my money or yours either.
The original intent was to fan the flames of Disney Sucks.Could somebody please remind me what the original intent of this post was? Forgive me for not hanging on every post. It's completely off the rails.
