Hi, I'm Christine and I'm a Disney Addict. :p My husband said there should be some kind of 12 step program. I even have my 22 month old daughter brainwashed. Disney and Tink were 2 of her first words. We can go into the Disney store and she will name almost all. We will be going May 5 for her 2 birthday. That will be her 3rd trip to the World.

Hi I’m Richard and I’m a Disney addict. So what if I have 70+ Disney snowglobes, I painted the master bedroom in my house in Monsters Inc colors and I don’t think I own a single article of clothing that doesn’t have mouse ears on it. What’s it to you? I don’t have a problem you have the problem. Yo ho Yo ho a pirate’s life for me….

disney sickness !!

Hi, my name is Ed, and I am a Disney Addict. I love going to Disney World, but can not always afford it, so even on the years that I am not going I still order the trip planning DVDs as a fix. I am planning on going next year, but I have already ordered the current 2 disc set.

Disney addict? No...

I pine for obscure things like the ABC Commisary.
I listen to Live365 Parkhopper Radio daily.
I read these forums bi- or tri-daily.
The only coffee grounds I own are Mickey Decaf.

And the list goes on... but I'm not claiming to be the biggest Disney addict, because I know what others are capable of! (Although don't get me wrong--I feel a deep sense of pride for other, greater Disney addicts--they make the world a happier place for all! )

Everyone has trains under their Christmas tree, I have the monorail with the Contemporary, Epcot, etc...and my snowgloves. I have the blueprint of Cinderella's castle as my "art" hanging in my living room. Plus an additional print of the castle being built. DD room is Tink and all the princesses including Minnie, entitled "just one of the girls". Kitchen has Disney mugs everywhere. Disney is a lifestyle, not a hobby.

Hi. My name is Mark and I'm a Disney addict.

I think they must put something in the water (or the Dole Whips) down at WDW. As soon as I leave the place, I start checking Mousesavers.com for deals so I can go again as soon as possible.

Maybe they have subliminals in all the theme music.

When my nephew was about 8 months old (he will be 2 in a couple of weeks) I turned it on the Disney Channel to let him watch whatever was on and so happens Lilo and Stitch was on, that child sat and stared at that show and would not take his eyes off of it, he has never done that with any cartoon. He is now officially a Disney kid. He can name all the characters in so many Disney shows, films. Lilo and Stitch are still his favorite. He can see the name Disney on something and you say "What does that say" and he says "Disney"!!! It's so cute.

I think I am responsible

I'm more of an addict than I care to admit publicly, but I have a new baby girl now, so I have no problem playing my Disney theme park music on my home stereo ("It's for the baby!" I tell my wife).

Have you been going to WDW since you were a kid, Dixiegirl? The addiction begins then! Friends I know who first went as adults don't get the bug the same way I do (I've been 5 times from age 2 to 26), though they are also enthralled with the place.

Lots of people don't "get it." Some say that I am a sucker for all the artificiality, merchandising and commercialism of Disney. I tell them I don't disagree: Mickey and friends always have their hands in my wallet. But they bend over backwards to make me happy, so I'm more than willing to part with my cash! As for the "artificiality" part of the equation, I don't see WDW as a big fake place, but rather as a synergistic outlet of creativity for many talented Imagineers and artists.

I am an addict for this place, and I probably will be forever...

I don't think that Disney "addiction" is that rare. I mean, come on, WDW gets MILLIONS of visitors every year, many of them repeat guests!

So, I think the number of people who are gaga for WDW is pretty large -- just not all of them have the time visit message boards like these as we do!

I went for 12 years between visits, from age 14 to 26, and I think that if I had known there were websites like this around, the wait would not have been quite so maddening. Granted, the Internet as we know it only came into being when I was about 18, but you know what I mean...

i must say, My husband and his 4 brothers were NEVER at Disney until I came into the picture about 12 years ago. I took my husband there for the first time when he graduated from Business School, he was 30!!! We were on the plane and said I can't belive you are taking me to a KIDDIE PARK!!! Later on that day in the pool, he was like I love this place, he was hooked by the end of the trip. He went home and told everyone how awesome it was. Soon after that they all made a trip to WDW. My one brother in law is dissapointed he didnt go before he had kids but was under the impression it was just for kids....

I'm a Disney addict. I've Tivo'd almost all of the Travel Channel Disney shows and watch them on a weekly basis. My family and I suffer withdrawls if we don't get to go at least once a year. I too listen to Live 365 while I'm at work. My co-workers make fun of me but I don't care. I LOVE DISNEY!!!!!

I have always said that Disney is a great place for adults just not grown ups. I consider myself an adult, I’m responsible, I have a job and I take care of my kids but I refuse to grow up. I still turn into a 12 year old the second a get onto Disney property.
