A breath taking resort. And a steal at only $195 a point.Guess they found the big pull-down Murphies were just as poorly anchored as the smaller trundle pull-down.

I trust you'll be able to find the door and show yourself out.I guess one can say that the Riviera has bed bugs.

No offense to anyone who bought points here, but I simply can not understand the thinking. DVC clearly cheaped out big time here. And you(royal) are willing to pay a humongous premium to stay here regularly?
I have been getting bombarded with Riveria sales materials, and we just laugh and laugh every time.
Expect to see more issues similar to this one. We went to the model center about a month ago and the queen size murphy bed in the studio was broken to the point where they couldn't pull it down. Not sure if it was a hinge issue or anchor points but when the model center equipment doesn't work it would seem to be a bigger issue, not just an isolated incident.
People are actually buying here! The hubris is paying off. Build the plainest, least themed tower you can. Install the cheapest fixtures you can get away with. Use the lowest bid contractor to do those installs, and it simply doesn't matter. To this point, DVC is bullet proof.Their hubris has no limit.
Still offering massive cash discounts for AP holders wanting to stay there.

I'll spring back.
Question...who is responsible for mid-construction and final occupancy inspections on Disney resorts?
Unless they used the same installation team, which is not at all a given, I’m not sure why people assume Saratoga Springs has a similar problem. Have there been reports of similar problems?Sounds like it also impacts the newly added Murphy beds at SSR too. I wonder if this is also an installation issue or a defect in the newer beds. They have these kinds of beds in POP without an issue for awhile.
Reedy Creek Improvement District is the authority having jurisdiction over building at Walt Disney World but this is not something that would get a lot of notice or is part of the Codes. The District has a reputation for being strict so I imagine they will be looking to do what they can within their power.Question...who is responsible for mid-construction and final occupancy inspections on Disney resorts?
