Disney Quest to close in July 2017

I think it's interesting to note that out of all of the suggestions put forth, the great majority of them have merit, which in my opinion reveals one of the difficulties in deciding what to actually do with the area. Making the leap from a great idea to the "best" idea. I would be on board for any of the following:

• A boutique small occupancy hotel with world class spa services
• A theater or opera house
• The return of the Adventurers Club in a big way; multiple floors, multiple themes

Each of these suggestions have problems, but I'm not convinced that any one of them has objections that outweigh each other.

Depends which high school. If it's a performing arts HS then hell yeah i'd choose it over Cirque lol. I've seen some amazing HS theatrical performances at magnet schools.

Relocate One Man's Dream to the Disney Quest building and turn it into one big Disney Archives museum.

There is of course already the Disney Family museum in San Francisco.

Which mostly consists of what the family had and stuff from private collections and focuses on Walt's story

An Archives museum curated by Disney could have a much broader scope.

And I am supposed to know this how? I don't work up full bios on members before I respond. Your response to this topic indicated to me that you didn't know what you were talking about since you conveniently left out the fact the Cirque used to have a show in LA just to make the original poster look bad.

Sorry, but I was going by a website that was listing shows in LA and they still had the Cirque show there.

The NBA thing did so well at Universal it closed down. A bar leaning to just one sport and so forth will not work. An all sports bar would be a good idea, but, Im sure they will find something to do with the space.

If I recall correctly Disney wanted the NBA to pay for most of it. Now did Disney give in and is footing the bill or did the NBA give in and is paying for it?

Unsure on that, but there were apparently also a lot of creative differences.
